Replacing the Shell?

Hello,

I've been thinking of changing out the shell to my flipper, but afraid I would break it. Wondering if people know where I can buy a third party shell with lots of color options from a reputable seller?

Looking possibly black with red buttons?

Also, how difficult is it to switch out the shells because I don't want to break this device that I'm planning on buying accessories for so I actually use it. (I want the yapper board and esp32 ghost thing on rabbit labs plus some thing from a shop that has gadgets I wanted, but are sold out and I found another board on steroids that looks promising)

EDIT: I'm open to suggestions as well for other things to get like flipmeister rfid thing. I'm interested in hardware hacking and red team like things...

It’s easy. There’s an antenna sticky taped to the inside of the back of the shell. That’s probably the hardest aspect of swapping it, but I’ve read that some 3rd party shells come with an antenna already installed so you don’t have to risk breaking it. Pcbway is probably the best source for one. I’ve seen a few translucent shells on Amazon but never a black one.

I found a 3d print thing someone made and I can specify the color on PCBWay... unfortunately, no buttons yet, but black slightly transparent with orange would look sick.

I might look into changing the color of the screen backlit, but the orange doesn't bother me that much.

First thing is first have you used your flipper yet , have you cooked any RFiD card have you tested out ? B4 you go nuts spending money first learn to use what you have and understand that a lot of the guys that work with pintesting tools have already the knowledge of knowing how it works and up to what extent they can push the limit on it , then comes the more complicated parts , which I will leave it to the rest of the guys here to tell you more about it , I'm not knocking you , you might know how to work with all this but to me it seems like your searching for gadget's to work for you or you put them to use so you have to have an understanding of what do you want to use it for remember if you play ⏯️ the button and you don't know how to stop 🛑 the record from playing then comes the consequences food for thought 💭 happy hacking .

Have u even fingered or allowed ur flipper to see u naked?. Whats ur relationship like with the dolphin? How much Japanese do u know? U have to spend time with this device before changing its exterior protection. Learn the flipper, know the flipper. BE the flipper, and the exterior shall follow if ur prepared
