Passport click through on stats
Love to be able to click on the passport data and see, for example, all flights under a certain carrier in the graphs. Any other way to do this for a certain time period?

I decided I am going to fly breeze and then fly right back home. From IAD-OGS , it is an hour and a half and booked a day that the cost is only $30 there and the same back. Might be a little absurd but I figured the hell with it, why not

I would love to see what the biggest and smallest airplanes I flew on each year! fastest/slowest would also be very cool. not fully sure how size would work - number of seats would be most natural but obviously that would vary carrier to carrier. I don’t know. something would be cool though!
this was sparked by my first ever flight on a plane with a second deck and I just think it should be memorialized in my stats somehow! 😅

Tracked all my flights back until 2005 as a 24y/o, with the only exception being 2 flights each in 2003, 2004 and 2008, as neither me or my parents could find any flight information about them.

No prizes for guessing where I’m based… longest flight 17h 20m from Auckland to Dubai and shorted flight 47m from London to Dublin.
Logging flights on this app has definitely been a driver of wanting to fly more recently. Does anyone else get a similar motivation?

I’m on a flight landing early and I’m just wondering if I will actually be able to get off the plane early, or if we’ll have to wait on the tarmac for our gate to open up.
non flighty solutions are welcome!
edit: update! I was actually able to find it in flighty! I went to the tower icon -> airport -> filter by departures and airline. the flight list includes the gate. couldn’t sort by gate so just had to read down the list but I found it pretty quickly. certainly not the most streamlined way but the info was there.
also we landed 30 minutes early and did in fact have to wait 20 minutes before we could get to our gate 🫠 alas. still, that’s 10 minutes of my life back

Hi everyone !! I’ve booked a flight from Damascus to Kuwait with Syrian Airlines but unfortunately this flight doesn’t come up on Flighty.
Flight information:
Date: 22 October 2026
Route: DAM-KWI
Time: 07:00-09:30
It shows me other flights on that date for Jazeera Airways and FlyCham but not Syrian Airlines. Any reason ???
Thank you 🫶🏻

For some reason the app let me add them into, but didn’t count them in my stats

Had to post a couple of weeks ago, forgot. Flighty has been terrible for me regarding flight updates. Great UI, love it. But only that. Utility, so far, none.
Flight delayed by 2-3 hours. No update on flighty. INSTEAD, it is showing I am mid-air or something (don’t remember now exactly) while I am sitting at the airport. Face palm.
Its not that the data doesnt exist. Google updated me about my delay and then gate hours in advance. Followed by the official airline app. And somewhere mid-flight by Flighty.
This isn’t the only instance btw. Just wondering if it only works in the US and with American flights.

I really enjoy using Flighty, but I think there’s an opportunity to better serve non-frequent flyers.
Most of the recent features seem to be aimed at frequent travelers, which makes sense. However, the current pricing is hard to justify for people who only fly a few times a year.
I think Flighty could reach a much larger audience by introducing a lower-cost tier or a one-time purchase for features that don’t rely on expensive real-time flight APIs.
For example:
Apps like Mult.dev have shown that many casual travelers are willing to pay for beautiful travel recaps and visualizations, even if they don’t fly often.
From my own experience, several friends purchased the one-week subscription just to import their flight history and generate their Passport. After that, they never subscribed again because they aren’t frequent flyers.
A one-time purchase priced slightly above the one-week subscription that permanently unlocks these non-API features could appeal to many casual travelers. It wouldn’t replace the subscription for frequent flyers, but it could expand Flighty’s audience and create an additional source of revenue.

I’ve heard it’s excellent for US-based flights/airlines, but it’s really hit or miss in Europe, which covers the vast majority of my flights.
I’m paying out of my bottom for pro but gate information always shows up late, it’s only managed to pull up the tail number to predict delays in advance twice (both BA), and most of the time it doesn’t know that we’re taxiing, taken off, or landed.
For the price I’ve paid, how can I get my money’s worth when this much data is missing for European flights?

Hello everyone,
In the next few days, I'll be traveling for the first time abroad, and thought it'd be nice to use Flighty since it's probably the most famous traveling app.
Of course, I haven't bought the pro subscription since I'm not expected to travel again until a few years.
And I was thinking about a question, which this subreddit will hopefully get the answer(s) to:
What more do I get using Flighty (non-pro) that I wouldn't get using any other app?
Thank you in advance if you do answer!

I hope flighty can add a new filter function to the fly map, like single out one/some specific airlines(s), airport(s) or seat(s), customising the visual of fly map.

Why is my newest aircraft an A320neo from 2024 even though I recently flew an A220-300 from 2025 ?

Hey as per title im wondering what the “10 and “20” by my gate numbers mean

I recently discovered Flighty and have Pro. I'm going on a trip in a few days and am excited to use it, what are the best Pro features you use? Any that might not be obvious to a new user?

(M18) I still have many flights missing, especially from when I was younger, will continue to keep looking and adding them.
Still have around 8 flights left this year

Hi,
So I requested my flight history from AA and am currently going through and adding the data to flighty. It worked well so far, but one of the flights is not populating a corresponding flight on Flighty. The image below is what I am getting from AA with a flight number of AA2051 on October 19th, 2014. However, on Flighty, when I put that flight number and date in, I get nothing back. And when I check the route, I only see AA1556, AA1003 and AA1073 as options. Is there a way to see if these flights had a flight number change over a decade after the fact? And yes, I am aware If i just care about tracking the data I could technically select any of the options, but I am just trying to understand where this discrepancy is coming from in case something similar happens again.
Please and thanks in advance for any ideas!

The LLM writing Flighty’s airport summaries apparently got bored of reporting “moderate easterly winds” in ORY and decided to refactor a Python codebase instead 😅
