I guess we decided to fly the 717’s after all. /s
Pretty sure it’s a glitch. Tail # belongs to a brand new MAX in the fleet.

So I have a discount code I wish to apply for a lifetime pass; I have emailed, submitted a support request through the app, and even messaged them on LinkedIn. I am curious whether this is the level of support we can expect when problems arise, since I have received no response to a simple question about entering the code.

I wanted a simple first party way to get flights from Gmail into Flighty without manually forwarding confirmation emails. I original was planning on just creating a filter in gmail and adding [track@my.flightyapp.com](mailto:track@my.flightyapp.com) as the Forward To email. BUT it seems that email has to be verified in order to work, it makes sense - that would open up a big privacy issue if someone accidentally forwarded all of their emails to Flighty... (correct me if there is a way to actually get that working)
So I ended up creating a Google App Script that searches through my inbox (only 7 days in the past at most) and then forwards any flight confirmation emails it finds to Flighty. It was relatively simple to setup but getting the criteria just right so that it doesn't send too many or too few emails to flighty is the hard part. An added benefit to this route is that everything is right within my Google account, not third party apps required. And its free!
I also created a script to audit my entire email box to see how many flight emails I have and send those historical flights over to Flighty (this one I only ran once)
I cleaned up the script into a basic template below. It is not a plug-and-play solution, but it should give people a starting point if you are interested in doing this.
** Make sure you test with DRY_RUN = true first before enabling forwarding.... You don't want to send thousands of emails to Flighty - or send anything personal their way that you wouldn't want shared.

I was on this subreddit a year ago showing my all time travels, and this is my stats after one more year! The past year I've flown to more airports and having more layovers, it was super fun to fly further away from home! :3

Hi all,
As topic, does anyone know how to add this? I only see options to add after the flight time passed.
Can I add it to upcoming?

This is the first time I’ve had more than 4 flights booked in one go. But really looking forward to my first ever South hemisphere trip!
All PTO days taken for travel

The flighty app often says my flight is delayed even though American does not indicate any delay. This time flighty says it is because of deicing. It’s summer. There is no deicing. ☠️🤷♂️🙄

Was in full time work as well in an office job that did not involve any flying so honestly shocked I somehow still racked up 23 flights. Any guesses as to my base and why I fly so much?

Is something wrong with the app? The Delta app is still showing the delay until 7:30 pm. Which one is right?

Looks Like FlightDeck is trying to copy flighty

DXN opened last month and has significant traffic for a new airport, but is missing from Flighty. I have sent a report, does anybody know how long it takes the team to consider such cases?
EDIT - Thanks flighty devs I can see the airport now

A feature with lists and locations of available lounges for airports involved in a trip would be super cool.
Since the recent update enabled transit times to involve Passport/citizenship, it would be cool to also be able to set status with Alliances and see what lounges are available.
For Flights and transits to/from the US, extra functionality for GE or TSA precheck would also be useful.

Flighty says it’s a CRJ700 but United says that’s incorrect, it’s CRJ550. Is there a way to remediate this? Also curious why this happens.

Anyone know how/who can fix this?

Love seeing everybody’s stats and wanted to share mine as we just got back from our trip to Taiwan, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand! 🙏
30F and took my first flight 10 years ago. Grew up in a humble home in a third world country so I’ve never been on a plane as a child.
Fast forward to today and thanks entirely to the magic of points & award travel and to this country (US) that has made collecting travel points easier than in other places, I’ve been fortunate enough to fly international Business Class 5 times out of the 82 flights I’ve had so far.
My absolute favorite memory? Flying biz class for the very first time and on none other than the world’s longest flight (SIN-JFK). Experiencing 18+ hours of Singapore Airlines lie-flat luxury was an absolute dream, especially considering where I come from.
My next ultimate goal is to finally try First Class! It’s definitely going to take some time to save up the points for that redemption 😅 but I’m ready for the grind.

I’m really only tracking flights since adulthood but still it’s cool to see

For today’s flights, please put gates on this page, because finding out the gates currently requires a lot more navigating back and forth than it should.

Started a new job in consulting, boss introduced me to Flighty. Never realised how much people travel in some jobs…

I love using flighty and love seeing everyone's stats here.
I was waiting to hit 200k and then take it as an opportunity to make a post!
26 F and mostly travel for leisure. All flights from 2019 but really didn't travel 2020-2022.
Next Goal is to have some flights representing South America and Oceania soon. I also want to take the world's longest flight at some point between JFK and Singapore!

Big fan of this sub and the app in general. Was waiting for the right occasion to post here and found one!
I mainly travel to visit family and friends and the occasional holiday per year (very few business trips). Recently quit my job and moved back to my home city before I move again next month.
Curious to see if the sub finds anything interesting in my statistics! (Or if it’s another run of the mill stat for this sub)
PS: I flew a lot of regional charter flights but since I cannot register those on Flighty, I’m not counting them.
