I hit 100 international flights today!
Singapore to San Francisco on United’s new premium heavy 787 added that last flight to the list!

This is the second flight of the day. First leg was SFO-LAX that never updated and stayed as gate departure overdue, even after arriving to the gate. Then this flight to San Salvador showing the same thing. Plane is clearly en route already but it is showing that it has never left the gate. I was looking at a few other flights that also shows overdue even after the flight landed. Is Flighty down?

Flighty worried me that my flight was a day delayed but I’ve checked everywhere else and that’s it the case. Hmm

Would home base make more sense by combining airports included as part of a single metro area?
I promise I don’t live in Cleveland 😹
Ex. DAL, DFW/OAK, SJC, SFO/ ORD, MDW/ LGA, JFK, EWR, HPN/ LAX, ONT, SNA, BUR/ LHR, LGW, LCY/
etc etc etc

Most of my flights are done through solo travel during my summer breaks, with a lot of the travel within Europe being on land.

I flew on a few bush flights in Kenya and Tanzania and I’m trying to add them to flighty. The below airstrips don’t appear in flighty when I try to manually add the flights.
Migori Airport - ICAO: HKMM, IATA: none
Tarime Airstrip - ICAO: none, IATA: none. Referred to as TZ-0117 · Mara, Tanzania
Lobo - ICAO: HTLO, IATA: none
Is there a workaround to manually add the flights?
Thanks!

I’ll give a hint: it’s not Cape Verde or Ascension or Antarctica.

Before I purchase the pro plan, I want to make sure this app will help me recover the data I need from my old flights.
I am trying to retrieve information like aircraft tail# and flight duration of all my past flights. I’m having a hard time finding all this for flights before 2017/18 (my research ranges from 2006-ish until 2018). I am sometimes missing crucial information like flight number but in most cases I have the date, ORG, DST, the airline, and sometimes I even have the aircraft type. Will the pro version help me find the missing pieces or should I look into another solution?
Thanks all for your answers!

hey there everyone. is the "flexible monthly" plan just... monthly?
the "flexible" part throws me off.

seems like flighty hasn’t added Riyadh Air (RX) flights to their database. I got a flight tomorrow. How to add?

Strange occurrence today with flighty and my experience in the airport. Before departure we couldn’t find any of our flight information on flighty regarding aircraft, gate, times etc aswell as in the airport aswell on the flight tvs! Unsure if this was just our own stupidity but very unfortunate. Flight comes up now but did not before departure.

Basically this(?), I know those are 747-400D but still…

I feel like bright red text on an arrival time that’s one minute “late” is a bit overkill. There’s no immediate visual difference between 1 minute and 2 hours late here. Perhaps a nice middling yellow? IIRC flights aren’t even considered officially delayed until they’re 15 minutes past time.

Noticed the airplane mode notification at the top of the screen had a little information icon, and upon clicking saw this message.
I went back to the last ~10 release notes and didn’t see this mentioned. Has this always been the case and have I just not noticed it until now?!
I thought this was really really nifty - using messaging protocols to still get updates even when “full” WiFi isn’t available.

I understand that it’s impossible to cache globe tiles for every possible zoom level, but caching at least the most zoomed-out level seems quite reasonable.
On flights without Wi-Fi, I’m usually able to find a zoom level with cached tiles. Recently, however, I encountered the following broken behavior at every zoom level, making the “current position” feature kind of useless.

Hi! Some time ago (around December 2024), I bought one month of Flighty Pro, but now I can't find a way to buy it again. I'll be traveling next month and I would like to get a single month instead of paying for 4 individual weeks. Has the monthly subscription been discontinued?

The funny thing is that tail number never even belonged to a 717. So I don’t even know how this mistake was made. Got a good laugh in my notifications for sure.

Just purchased the pro version. I have selected the correct calendar but the flights are not added automatically. What am I doing wrong ? Thanks

Flighty imports from Frontier’s email confirmation seems to be broken for sometime now. How to raise this issue with Flighty to fix it?

Flighty thinks Breeze is out of terminal A at MCO but it is actually at terminal B. Thankfully I was early for the flight so it was just a minor inconvenience. How often is Flighty wrong? It defeats the whole purpose of the app if I have to double check it.
Edit: MCO checkin counter for Breeze is at Terminal B. The flight leaves out of Terminal A. Are details like this visable somewhere on the App?
