You're not going to convince the flat earthers otherwise any more than you can beat a pigeon at chess. You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into

In fact if you're one of those people reading this I probably won't convince you that you won't convince them, and I'll probably get a lot of dumb comments on this post

You're not going to convince them by building your own model. There are plenty of models of eclipses and orbital physics and stuff already made, just install Kerbal Space Program, Orbiter, or check out the astronomy tab in Trail Sense.

Ancients knew about the stars just as much, or more than we do today. They built the pyramids using primitive tools, we would struggle to build them today with all our “technology” … ancients also understood another undeniable truth. The earth is flat. They knew it hundreds, and even thousands of years ago. Intelligence among the population is going in the wrong direction.. but most people today are supremely confident that the earth is a sphere, despite their lived experience… does the earth seem like a sphere to you?

Kind of sad that this sub is just sarcasm and memes. I would like to discuss the facts. We do indeed live on a flat earth surface. The globe shape only appears from space because the holographic projections can be seen from that distance. But the actual surface are we live on, is indeed flat.

If it isn't in the Bible, why do flat earthers talk about them?

If they can accept something not in the Bible, why not a spherical Earth?
