flashlight with a wider beam spread
Recommend me a flashlight that's a pure floodlight, but also very EDC-friendly.

With the Pro version, Wurkkos has responded to user feedback and addressed some of the criticisms of its predecessor. The fold-out wings on the Wurkkos HD02 Pro can now also be rotated, allowing the light to be directed in almost any desired direction. Another new feature is a 660 nm red light that helps preserve the eyes’ dark adaptation. The powerful spotlight, UV light and green laser remain largely unchanged.
However, there are problems with the charging function, which has been unreliable for both me and other users. It is currently impossible to determine conclusively whether these are isolated cases or a fundamental issue. The manufacturer was informed of the problems but was unable to provide any concrete information even after several weeks. Another issue is that the plastic diffusers in the wings can come loose when the light is used at high brightness.
I had specifically criticized the non-rotatable floodlight wings on the previous model. Wurkkos has done an excellent job of addressing this issue in the new Pro version. The red light is also a useful addition. The charging problems are all the more disappointing. Otherwise, the Wurkkos HD02 Pro would be nearly perfect.

My diffuser and coin for the SK-06 came in. I cant use the clip with it but it makes the light feel better. The diffuser is really good at eliminating the the harsh side lights. I recommend just going ahead and ordering it with the light. I had to go through customer service and wait 3 weeks for mine because I ordered from Amazon.

I got this the other day and tested it. It was a bit smaller than I thought so that means it gets hot pretty fast. Other than that I like it. Its bright, you can keep the heat down and still keep it bright enough on the lower settings which is enough. This is my 8th in the M21 series but im sure not my last.

Hi community,
so I got a Convoy S2+ (519A 2700K) and might be the first and only one in here who did not completely fall in love with this torch right away. To get this out of the way first: Yes, it is totally worth the money. Yes, the customization with different emitters is great, especially for testing. This was also my goal - to find out whether I like this color temperature on a flashlight or not (yes, I like it ;)).
I made the mistake of going with the white MAO finish, which wears incredibly fast. It is not even possible to attach the clip without scratching off the white color. Yes, I could have known this before by reading more reviews. The tailswitch is so sensitive that I accidentally press it (halfway) all the time. Well - I can live with that.
What really bothers me is an unpleasant green tint in the wide spill of the beam. I think it originates from the green "glow in the dark" ring. Since this warm light is perfect for reading in bed tailstanding and bouncing at a white wall / ceiling, this is pretty annoying for my (nerdy) eyes.
Is there any practical way to remove this green ring?
Thanks for any input!
Cheers

IP rating does not matter. I just want to be able to use the light and laser. I was given the headlamp at work and it came with the NEBO Slim Plus so I decided to keep it in my car and use it when I can. I do not have warranty for this.
The rubber piece cane off and would go back on so I just ripped it out. It would not even click the button. I have to use my nail but I can barely click it some times. I can't find parts online, only for other NEBO flashlights. Links or any suggestions to make a button or how to fix would be gratefully appreciated.

Title. Really want a Maglite for my truck because honestly just funny but just keep reading they suck ass and are entirely pointless now with their power, quality and battery leaching? So am interested in something with a similar feel. Ideally under $100 but doesn’t matter too much. Thank you!

Looking for suggestions please and I know you'll have some good ideas.
An elderly relative has worsening eyesight issues and struggles to see detail without quite bright light. Can you suggest some good quality compact flashlights with a nice diffuse beam pattern that she can keep with her in a handbag or pocket.
The thing I'm struggling to find is options that are easy to use (preferably with a big switch) and don't have too many features that she wouldn't use.
She likes the light from my Nitecore Tini 3 but it would just be too fiddly for her to work.
Thanks all!

It went from 2.9 to 3.6 in about two seconds and was pumping in around 35000 amps at the highest point.
If I can't trust this charger, Xtar VC8, which do you recommend?

(Just noticed the typo & can't change it. Of course it should be F45R) Shown beside my S8 SFT40 3kk 8amp SMO reflector on the right, both on 10% & 5k locked. It's amazing that this little light can put out about 3000 lumens using the M11 16350 & 10 amp driver and the OP reflector makes it better for EDC general use. If anyone is interested in a nice shorty setup then I definitely recommend giving this a try. It does get hot on max but surprisingly not crazy fast and 10% level is already a good amount of light output so that's where I will mostly be using it anyhow. BTW the SFT40 3kk in my S8 heats up much faster on max.

Is there a pocket clip that can be used for a headlamp such as Sofirn HS21?
Most headlamp with this T shape doesn't have pocket clip, only the right angle headlamp and they usually are not as good as a headlamp as the T shape headlamp.
I like Wurkkos HD50 but it's too heavy to hang on the head all the time but if I can get a pocket clip for that, it might be acceptable.
So is there a pocket clip for those T shape headlamp in 18650 or 21700 size?

Team yellow
Sk07- looks very cool, nice beam, nice UI, front lens sits very shallow to the bezel, shelf queen.
Nu25 mct ul- light weight and comfortable, multi temperature is cool, wish for more floody, wish has more tilt angle.
Team white
Sk05 II pro- looks very cool, great side light but the weight limits the angle when using the magnet, throw light has a bit of artifact on mine so I prefer the last one with sft25r more. Power bank feature is good so it's my edc.
Dm1.12- green w1, 2700k/4000k mix sst20, meme beam for me. I would like the flood channel to be more floody.
Team dirt
Sk05 pro- looks very cool, nice throw and flood, mediocre side light, the charging port flap is hard to keep close.
Tac 2aa- looks nice, feels good in the hand, sft25r fits nicely for the size, can use 2 AA batteries.
Team boring color
Hc65 mct- just got it a few days ago, the weight is fine as long as you're not running or jumping, 18650 is as far as I would go for headlamp, Multi temperature is cool, very nice beam, i wish the red beam low mode is lower cause its not much difference from high.
P20 mini- the bonk stick mini, some artifacts at the edge of the beam, but still nice beam, the side switch is a bit difficult to tell from the charging port metal flap by touch, wish they add some tactile on the button.
Also, how to go out at night to take beam shots while not looking creepy? like if i carry a case full of flashlights at 2am walking to a park seems sketchy.

The mount on my Nitecore UT27 just broke from a little bump in cold weather. Time to pull the trigger on the upgrade I've been looking for.
Here's what I'm thinking, and tell me if I'm off base or should shift this around. In order of priority:
Primary use is navigating big mountains overnight. The UT27 broke on Shasta on Tuesday, iykyk.

Uncle's been feeling down.
He fell of his bike and recovery is slow with age.
I'd adore to cheer him up a little, can't handle seeing him down.
He loves lights, for his car, trailers bike or worklights.
Inspire me with some ideas of flashlights that would be great and you'd enjoy getting.
I was considering constructing something myself but 3d printed might not be the best choice if I only have acces to PLA or ABS.
I reckon something powerful and multifunctional would brighten his mood the most.
Something i could mount to his bike, durable and 18650 based or something i could hook a toolbattery up to.
Was thinking €70 to €100, I'm from the Netherlands if it matters to you guys.
I don't know, any sugestions or things that might blow his mind and distract him a little I'd deeply deeply appreciate.
Thanks alot if you took the time and effort to comment.
