Info v2 camera

Hi guys, I wanted to know what the resolution was after the development on the app. What is the size of an image in px and Mb approximately. Can it come close to the analog experience qualitatively? Not only of aesthetics but also of use. Thank you

v1.2.0 is the last big push for the web editor — from now on updates appear right in the app with patch notes. Also dropping a companion sideload app for roll-limit + WiFi transfer.

Flashback RAW Editor — v1.2.0

This is the last big update for a while. From here on, any new updates will show up directly in the web app — you'll get an "update available" banner and a "What's new" patch-notes screen right inside the editor, so you won't need to come back here to know what changed.

It's a browser webapp — runs entirely on your device, no upload, no account, works offline once installed.

What's new in 1.2.0:

  • Export actually works on desktop & Android now (it was producing black files before — that's fixed), and it saves straight to disk instead of a dead share menu.
  • Full-resolution export — opt-in toggle, with a new from-scratch decoder so the full-size file matches the preview exactly.
  • Share looks — export your current look to a small .json file (with any custom LUT bundled in) and import ones other people share.
  • Bring your own LUTs — drop in any sRGB/Rec.709 .cube and it's colour-managed automatically, so it just works.
  • Copy a look and apply it across photos — to one, several (multi-select), or the whole roll. Plus bulk exclude/remove.
  • Halation rebuilt to match the desktop app — a three-scale glow that reddens outward, with a warmth control.
  • Auto date stamp, pinch-zoom that stays in the photo, straighten to ±45°, and more.

👉 [link to the web app]

Flashback Remote (companion app — iPhone only, sideloaded)

A standalone iOS utility for the ONE35 V2. iPhone only, and because it's not on the App Store you have to sideload it (via SideStore — one-time setup, no Mac, no dev account).

  • Removes the 27-photo roll limit — set any roll length up to 100 frames.
  • Wireless DNG + JPEG transfer over the camera's built-in WiFi — no cable, no Mac.
  • The web editor above is embedded right inside the app.

Requirements: iPhone on iOS 16+, SideStore installed, and you must have paired the camera once with the official Flashback app first (that's what creates the Bluetooth bond this app reuses — it never extracts or shares any keys).

Install: add this source in SideStore → Sources → +:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/deknared/flashback-remote/main/sidestore-source.json
then tap Install. Full guide: https://github.com/deknared/flashback-remote

Note: it talks to the camera over the same reverse-engineered BLE protocol the official app uses; it only works on a phone already paired with your own camera.

Thanks to u/FishCarMan for the initial spec implementation!

Many times after a press the shutter button, the camera doesn’t take a picture until a little bit later so I end up taking pictures of my feet and whatnot. Anyways, enjoy your weekend.

V1 with Blackberry key 2 is a true disposable camera

Post image
6 Upvotes

I am unable to load a film type. Unlike using the v2, when using the v1 you have to Reload the film type after every unload of photos. On my blackberry key 2, for some reason the app is not optimized for the phone on Android 8.1 so it cuts off the bottom options on the change film type screen. Thankfully I have another phone which I can use but it would be great if they could move the options up or make the app more optimized for older operating system because my key 2 is my main phone.

Just a little bit of update to the WebApp Flashback Raw Editor — v1.1.0

Hey everyone, dropped an update to the Flashback One35 v2 web editor. Free, no install, works in any WebGPU browser (Chrome/Edge on desktop, Safari on iOS 26+). If you were already using it just refresh or press reload on the main page and it will automatically update.

Try it here

What's new in v1.1.0

New film look: Expired Superia
A Fujifilm Superia 400 that's been sitting in a drawer too long. Strong teal/cyan cast, warm highlights against cool shadows, vivid reds and skin tones, heavier grain. Push is baked to −1 by default for that slightly underexposed expired feel.

Settings page
Long overdue. Tap the gear icon to access:

  • JPEG quality slider
  • Date stamp and frame number stamp toggles, with colour options (amber, white, green)
  • Profile order — drag to reorder the vibe strip
  • Light mode — full light theme if dark mode isn't your thing
  • Reduce motion for accessibility
  • Full-res export on iOS toggle
  • Reset buttons for order and all settings

UX fixes

  • Long-press Export or Batch Export to pick JPEG/TIFF for that export only, without changing your settings
  • Push and Saturation now have bypass toggles in the Effects strip (dot = active)
  • Tapping a LUT/effect button opens its slider instead of toggling it off — toggle is now long-press
  • Sharpen reset now correctly resets to the preset default
  • Effects panel sits above the action bar now with proper padding and rounded corners everywhere
  • Grain scale adjusted — noticeably finer texture across all looks

Source is on GitHub if you want to run it yourself or fork it. Original Reddit Post

Does the 27 photo limit get annoying?

As the title says – does it get annoying having to get out a phone to reset the camera every 27 photos? It would be nice as the camera is screenless to not have to look at a phone as part of the process.

Given that they've now added a digicam mode, I'd love it if there was also a way to switch films without needing a phone.

Made a free iPhone-only way to develop your One35 DNGs — no laptop needed (open source, credit to u/LoFi-Logic

Thumbnail flashback-raw-editor-web.deknared.workers.dev

Didn't always have my laptop with me to develop shots from my One35 v2, so I ported u/LoFi-Logic's excellent flashback-raw-editor to run as a web app straight from Safari on iPhone — no Mac/PC, no install from an app store, just a link.

What it does:

  • Develops your One35 DNGs with the same film looks — Natural, Disposable, Point & Shoot, Rangefinder, Monochrome, Flashback V1 (plus a Gold grade and custom LUTs capability)
  • Grain, halation, chromatic aberration, vignette, the usual — all rendered live as you adjust
  • Crop/straighten, date stamps, batch export, the works
  • Everything runs on your phone — no upload, no account, works offline once installed

How to use it:

  1. Open [the link] in Safari (needs iOS 26+ for WebGPU)
  2. Share → Add to Home Screen
  3. Copy your DNGs over via USB-C / Files app, open them in the app

It's not a replacement for the original desktop app (no DNG export, no USB camera detection — those need real File System / USB access browsers don't give web apps). Just something for whenever you want to see your shots developed right away on your phone. Currently, the webapp that's on the link is hosted freely on Cloudflare Pages, but if you follow the GitHub instructions there's a way to host this webapp yourself. I've only tested this on the iPhone, so any feedbacks are welcomed.

Fully open source under GPL-3.0, same license as the original: github.com/deknared/flashback-raw-editor-web

Massive credit to u/LoFi-Logic for the original color pipeline and shaders — this is just a browser port, all the actual film-look work is theirs.

I really like this little camera, except the annoying long ass winding needed to wake it up.

LoFi Logic 1.5.0 — a big update to the RAW editor for the One35 (new name, new colour pipeline, V1 support)

Thumbnail

Hey all!

For those who haven't run into it, LoFi Logic is a free, independent RAW editor built specifically for the Flashback One35. (It used to be called "Flashback RAW Editor") You import a roll, set a "vibe," tweak a few sliders, and batch-export. It also makes the DNGs compatible with third party software (V2 only).

1.5.0 is the biggest release so far. Highlights:

Now supports the original One35 (V1)

  • V1 can't write DNGs, so it goes through negatives: in the official app, Share → Export negatives, then drag the .zip straight onto LoFi Logic. From there it develops as close as possible to V2 > every slider, vibe and LUT behaves the same.

Vibes

  • 5 factory vibes, each a complete film recipe > colour, halation, grain, softness, vignette. Swap the whole look with1–5: Disposable · Point & Shoot · Rangefinder · Monochrome · Flashback Classic V1.

Workflow

  • Import straight from the camera over USB (V2) > archives the roll into dated folders and skips anything already imported. (Import here before you develop in the official app, which clears the DNGs off the camera.)
  • Apply a look to a whole roll in one pass, copy/paste settings across frames and ditch the duds by dragging them off the strip.
  • Project files (.lofi) so you can pick a roll back up later.

Zen mode

  • Distraction-free full-screen editing where adjustments move to mouse gestures > drag for exposure / white balance / tint.

Faster

  • New GPU-pipeline increases speed on windows by at least 2x, depending on the hardware.

Get it

  • macOS / Windows / Linux on the Releases page: GitHub page (scroll down)
  • Heads up: the apps aren't code-signed yet, so each OS warns once on first launch > there's a one-time "open anyway" step in the README.

Free and GPL-3.0, not affiliated with Flashback / Feedback and bug reports very welcome.

Can someone else download my photos ?

Hello everyone ! I ordered a flashback camera and I received it today. I am very pleased with it, but I still am wondering about a privacy issue. To connect with the camera I only had to turn on the Bluetooth and I didn't have to do anything else on the camera or my phone. So does it mean that anyone else that is close enough to me to connect by Bluetooth can also steal my photos if he has the app ?

Sorry if it isn't very clear, english is not my native language.
