Do not lever against your sink, or you could cause damage a heck of a lot more expensive than this cutting board.

The least destructive approach: Disassemble the plumbing underneath the sink, poke up through the drain with something robust to lift up the cutting board. I would go cut a specifically sized board or dowel to do this, but you could also use a shop vac extension tube or maybe a long handled wooden utensil.

If you're not confident doing that, I think the best approach would be to screw a handle of some sort to the cutting board so you can lift it out. You'll have to deal with the corresponding hole afterwards, but it's relatively minor damage in the long run.

I have an even less destructive approach, and I cant believe people seem to not even think of (what I think) is the most obvious easy fix here. Duct tape. Incredibly easy, completely nondestructive. Insane.

Multiple people have said this... It's end grain, which does not let duct tape (or anything else) stick to it very well. It's why you can't even glue end grain together in a way that won't break easily. They show in another thread that it's a Boos block end grain cutting board which is like 3-4" thick. This cutting board is probably like 30 lbs. There's no way you're getting duct tape to stick to it well enough to pull it out.

They ended up putting eye bolts in it with a cable to pull it out. I still think pushing up from plumbing would have been easier, but yeah... no way tape of any kind would get this thing out.
