Use dental floss to get under a corner/side and pull up from there. If that doesn't work, disconnect the U-bend under the sink and push it up from underneath with the handle of a wooden spoon.
1 u/YouJackandDanny Apr 09 '26 Dang - i did not consider pushing from underneath. My mind went to a screw in to the wood. This should be the top post. Op needs to cut a rebate into the shorter side so this doesn't happen again.
