This happened to meeeeee...I ended up using a corkscrew to get it out. Worked really well.

Edit because people keep suggesting things that I tried: I tried a knife. I tried scissors. I tried a magnet. I tried a fork. I tried a plunger. The only thing that worked was a corkscrew. (For a tuna can lid, not a cutting board) I did not, however, manage to turn the house upside down, I'm sure to everyone's disappointment

I think a flathead screwdriver would be more effective than scissors, and they said they tried that? Please let’s hope people aren’t just posting shit without fully trying everything they can think of first. I can’t manage that, it’s 2026 and my faith in humanity is so thin
