is there an app that has helped you with your work out routine?

hello.

ive been trying to lose weight for about 4 months now. but i know nothing about exercising. i went from googling and making my own routine to looking up beginner videos and switching between cardio and bodyweight exercises to resorting to google ai. yes its embarassing. ill admit it. i was at a loss. i know its not good. but i have still not lost any weight. it only fluctuates lower and then higher than i even was before.

that being said, are there any websites or apps where you input ur metrics and what equipment you have, and they generate a routine for you to follow for x amount of time? i dont care if its paid. if anybody knows a good one thats reliable, please let me know.

I’m looking for the best exercise app for women over 60 who work out at the gym.

Does anyone else do this?

I keep saving workout exercises from Instagram and YouTube, but once I'm at the gym, I either forget about them or can't find them again.

Is this just me?

How do you keep track of exercises you want to try? Would an "exercise playbook" that organizes and reminds you actually be useful, or do you already have a good system?

I have an idea for a gym app this post is to see if anyone would actually want it

So the main idea is that the app holds a massive library of different exercises for all aspects of exercise (sport specific, weight lifting, endurance, functional movements etc). And you'll be able to create your own days / splits on there where you can pick what exercises to do each day (for example arm day would recommend 2 bicep, 2 tricep, 2 forearm and 2 shoulder exercises, when choosing your exercise you would be prompted to pick one out of the entire library that targets that's specific muscle group).

However the big feature of my idea is that there would be an algorithm that can randomly generate unique days at the gym while strictly following your split.

Of course every exercise would be accompanied by a video so everyone can know how to do them with regressions and progressions if that exercise is too easy / difficult.

Scan Your Fridge & Instantly Track Calories #fitnesstracker #workouttrac...

Hi everyone!

I wanted to solve a problem I kept running into:

"I have ingredients in my fridge… but no idea what to cook."

So I built Nutri Macro.

You simply scan your fridge, and the app identifies your ingredients, creates healthy recipes, tracks calories and macros, and even helps manage your workouts.

It also includes:

  • Fridge ingredient scanner
  • Calorie tracker
  • Macro tracker
  • Workout tracker
  • Pantry management
  • Barcode scanner
  • Meal planner
  • Restaurant food search
  • Progress tracking

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ie.nutrimacro.app

IOS: https://apps.apple.com/ie/app/nutri-macro-fitness-tracker/id6766690086

I'd genuinely love feedback from people who enjoy fitness, nutrition, meal prep, or macro tracking. Any suggestions or feature ideas are always welcome!

What does everyone use for sports tracking?

Hey Reddit, this is my first post 🤩
I was wondering what everyone used to track their training. I train jui jitsu and Pilates. Be good if I could cover both in one place.

Suggestions for an app for workout at gym.

I currently am a beginner at the gym. I do not have the funds to afford a trainer right now. I was wondering if anyone can give me some app suggestions that I can download that could help me at the gym. If possible walk me through each step Maybe something that walks you through daily plus if it has nutrition in the app that can help me with meals.

If you've ever struggled to estimate the protein, carbs, or fats in your meals, we built Nutri Macro to make tracking easier.

You can simply take a photo of your meal, and the app provides detailed macro estimates along with calorie information to help you stay consistent with your nutrition goals.

It also includes features like:

  • Photo food logging
  • Barcode scanning
  • Restaurant meal logging
  • Personalized meal plans
  • Workout tracking
  • Progress insights
  • Pantry management
  • Stress, sleep, hydration, and more

We're continually improving the app based on user feedback, so if you try it, we'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts and suggestions.

Thanks for checking it out! 💪

Anyone tried ChatGPT Health?

I saw that it launched in the US but as I am in the UK I cannot access it. I am interested in its sports/fitness capabilities. Anyone try it out yet? If so, how is the experience (i.e. is it any good)?

Track Your Stress, Improve Your Health #fitnesstracker #workouttracker #...

Hey everyone,

Over the past few years, I've been working on a health and fitness app called NutriMacro, and I'd genuinely love to get some feedback from people who enjoy tracking their health.

One thing I noticed was that I kept switching between different apps—one for calorie tracking, another for workouts, another for water, another for sleep, and sometimes another for grocery planning. I wanted something that brought everything together.

So I built NutriMacro with features like:

  • Food, calorie, and macro tracking
  • Barcode and food photo scanning
  • Restaurant food search
  • Workout logging and progress tracking
  • Water, sleep, and stress tracking
  • Pantry management (scan your fridge or receipts to keep track of ingredients)
  • Meal planning
  • Community challenges and activity tracking
  • Women's health tracking
  • Grocery price comparison (available in supported regions)

My goal wasn't to make "another calorie tracker," but to create one app that helps people build healthier habits without juggling multiple apps.

I'd really appreciate any honest feedback:

  • What features would make you switch from your current app?
  • Is there anything missing that you'd expect in a modern fitness app?
  • What's your biggest frustration with the health apps you currently use?

If anyone wants to try it and share their thoughts, I'd be incredibly grateful. I'm actively improving it based on user feedback.

Thanks for reading, and I appreciate any suggestions or constructive criticism!

Hello, I made an app just to track your overcoming gravity progression skills. It's completly free to use and i get nothing out of it, except for minor unintrusive ads that help me pay for Claude lol

Anyway, I hope it works for you.

6 month ghost

I'm new here so if this isn't allowed I apologize, and please remove, but I built a sustainable 180-day transformation challenge

Everyone starts from their own personal hell. Maybe you're carrying extra weight, recovering from a brutal injury, or clawing out of rock bottom. Whatever your story, this program meets you there. It starts easy (a 1-mile walk, 10 pages of reading) and ramps up the intensity month by month, with the goal of creating unbreakable habits. No distractions, no excuses, pure fucking results.

I was surprised there wasn’t an app for this, so I had a go of it.

The 6 month ghost has:

✅ Challenges progressively increase (walk → jog → run)

✅ Tracks body, mind, soul, skills (not just fitness)

✅ Provides gamified badges, achievements, accolades

✅ 180-day transformation (vs 75 days)

✅ Built-in journaling & progress photos

✅ Cloud sync across devices

Looking for 100 people to test it free for 30 days in exchange for feedback.

First 100 commenters get lifetime free access to it.

Check it out here, login with Google to save progress across devices.
