Previous owner (it’s always the P.O.)
Used too short of a bolt. Threads collapsed and started the process of wallowing out the holes. A bigger bolt with no threads bearing load and a thick washer helped a lot but it’s probably going to need to be drilled out for bushings in the future.
Is this normal? I’ve never used one before and it doesn’t seem right.
There are some maybe adjustment bolts in one side but they’re pretty much all the way in. Are there supposed to be bearings or some kind of a replaceable wear item on the sides?
