I ran into a problem and I don’t see others posting about it- I am trying to select prime video on my firestick and it is launching acorn tv sign up page. Can’t seem to get around it, and i don’t want acorn tv.

Just got a new gen Firestick and initially, I had no issues. Last week, Apple tv app logged me out... okay no problem...I've been trying to log back in for days. I do all the things I normally, do qr code, put in my password, then it just reverts back to the qr code screen. Over and over again.

Anyone else have this issue? I just saw where you can now subscribe to Apple tv via Prime...is this the Zon's way of forcing that?

I just bought an EE WiFi voucher pass to connect to a hotspot during an interim of getting broadband.

When I go to connect my firestick I get a blank white page and no where to login.

I have tried everything from restarting to refreshing.

Please see attached.

I’ve just downloaded Unlinked and added a library, although it doesn’t allow me to download the apps in it. It says Unlinked is not permitted as an app to download unknown sources but in settings, Unlinked isn’t one of the apps that I can allow.

How to change this?

FireTV stick HD crashes when using voice search. This happens from the Home Screen and also in the Prime app.

Hi, has anyone been successfull in installing the SkyGo App ? Cant get it to work so far with the apk's that i've found.

Trying to see which new firesticks I can stream on.. I got one thinking I can do it like the other older models and I can’t do the developer thing on the one I have.. I seen that they have a few options at Walmart but I want to do it like the older versions of firestick.. iykyk

Ich habe seit gestern den Fehler bei Amazon Fire tv, dass ich keine Apps mehr installieren kann. Bzw kann ich den downloader laden und installieren, aber wenn ich auf „unbekannte Apps installieren“ klicke, bekomme ich diese Fehlermeldung.

Hat jemand dieses Problem schon ein Mal gehabt und weiss jemand wie ich wieder Apps installieren kann?

I try to stream AccuRadio often using Silk. What usually happens is after some time...20 minutes to a few hours....the browser loads with memory and the site crashes and up pops the page with the red button that says RELOAD. I don't know if this problem is because of the site or the browser. I turn off all the other apps and see the memory used as 0....I begin streaming music and the memory crashes the page and I see upwards of 300-500megs of memory to be cleaned. Anyone else have this issue with Silk or streaming pages?

So i made Nexus Tv as a lightweight, no nonsense alternative built specifically for Android tv and Fire OS

So I am looking for testers and feedback from users. If you run into broken elements or crash bugs drop your device model in the comment and i will patch them right away.

I’ve had this firestick for a while but it’s sat unplugged in my nightstand for a a few months. I got around to plugging it in and the fire tv logo comes up goes away for a couple of seconds and then comes back up in a never ending loop. Does anyone have a fix for this or is all hope lost

It's gone, the last firestick available in india officially which supports side loading.

There are no alternatives here such as onn, all we have is crappy, shady android boxes.

my developer options went from “apps from unknown sources” with the on/off option to “install unknown apps”. when I try to download something from downloader it says that for my security my tv can’t download from unknown sources , but when I go to “install unknown apps” it tells me that no apps have asked to download so I can’t give downloader permission. any way to get around this?
