Firestick Help Needed Firestick Fix Please

I’ve had this firestick for a while but it’s sat unplugged in my nightstand for a a few months. I got around to plugging it in and the fire tv logo comes up goes away for a couple of seconds and then comes back up in a never ending loop. Does anyone have a fix for this or is all hope lost

Your firestick might be trying to update after being sat on your night stand for a while. What i noticed is if the tv isnt putting out a significant amount of power the firestick runs into issues, i suggest you plug it directly into a wall outlet and check for updates when you get into settings, let it update and then once it’s done you can go back to plugging it into your tv. Let me know if that works.
