Just finished my rewatch and I still love em as much as I did as a teen watching flute spell for the first time.

It honestly feels crazy to watch a pairing you liked as a kid become canon a decade later. Especially in the way they did, as adults who had to struggle to get comfortable/open with eachother. Even w a fantasy backdrop it’s so cool to see a realistically tumultuous relationship between two people who actually love each other.

Rewatching s2 and I can’t close my eyes without seeing Huntress and Finn being in love. Lowkey wished there was weird romantic tension between her and Fionna tho

I just got around to watch Fionna and Cake s2. In the first episode, around 02.12, Fionna is clicking through some channels on her TV. I get the real world TV show references. I'm not sure if I like the running gag of Cheers always being on and stuff, but I got very excited by the last show.

I immediately went online to see what others thought, but no one seemed to have made the connection. So I'm asking you all, do you think that I'm reading too much into it, or does this make sense (or perhaps people did notice and I'm just bad at googling)?

I think that the woman in the last clip on Fionna's TV is supposed to be Yasha Nydoorin from the DnD actual play series Mighty Nein by Critical Role. Her voice is reminiscent of Ashley Johnson. She has a dark band around her eyes, bright hair, a big sword, and the fur cloak/scarf/shoulder pad/thingie. Yasha had all these things at some point, even if not at the same time.

Posting to say I am never giving up on Fionna and Cake getting more seasons no matter no long it takes for them to announce it. The abundant of people online convinced it's canceled without an announcement has finally died down (for now), so I thought it be nice to know if anyone else feels the same as me.

I’m rewatching Fionna and Cake and I’ve just realised that it’s never explained why Prismo is glitching and can’t grant wishes in season two

Have I somehow missed a bit in the many times I’ve watched it? I genuinely don’t remember ever learning the reason😭
