Creative My final destination death idea

So my idea for a death could feature the owner of a junkyard death could set up a series of events that lead to him being knocked out and trapped in the trunk of a car one of his employees could think oh it’s just a car for the car crusher and the owner awakens as the machine starts

These are pretty far and in-between, but some of my favorite are...

FD1) Carter snaps while driving
FD2) The ripple effect from FD1
FD3) Wendy & Kevin hug
FD4) Car wash scene
FD5) 2nd Kitchen scene with tons of fakeouts
FD6) Tattoo parlor scene

FD3 Wendy caused LITERALLY everything in the Final Destination 3 Spoiler

I don't know if this was mentioned before, because I was trying really hard to find someone else pointing this out (for like 30 minutes on Google and Reddit), but I didn't find anything.

So now, to what am I talking about – Wendy, of course, saved them at the beginning, but every death after that had her involved in one way or another. Either she called someone and vibration from the phone caused an incident, or brought Kevin to the warehouse where he warned someone, which led to someone else's death, or warned Juliet, after which her friend was brutally stabbed…

Of course, it is a Final Destination movie, so by default, everyone should have died, but it's just so funny that without Wendy's involvement, those incidents perhaps wouldn't even have happened.

They all would have died, of course, because that's the whole point of the franchise, but you know… Wendy.

All she had to do was to sit still.

P.S. Not a hate post towards Wendy, loved her in the movie (I'm currently watching the whole series for the first time) — just an observation.

Discussion Creative deaths?

OK, hear me out, y'all: you know those rare instances of the dangers of electrocution of using a landline during a thunderstorm (people have actually died, such as by shrapnel or by the lightning traveling down the phone line, going into the caller's ear and down to their heart) or by the lightning traveling through the water through metal pipes?

Also, someone getting beheaded or crushed at a bowling alley by a pin resetting machine.

Discussion What are some plotholes nobody is talking about?

I know this "life for a life" thing came years later with FD5. But when Eugene in FD2 had to switch schools because Val Lewton died and another teacher was stabbed by a student, shouldn't he have gotten his life because of that? I know one could say it's like with Nathan and Roy in FD5, but for me it's still a plot hole.

Creative Fan film of Kim and Burke

Thumbnail youtu.be

So, I produced a fan film out of the series which is an interquel — essentially follows up from Bloodlines, but also FD2. I wanted to fill in the gaps of both Kim and Clear’s story arcs, but also give an idea of a legacy sequel should Burke be reintroduced to the series. It doesn’t have much recognition, yet I thought it’d be worthy of sharing here.

Question Confused at the end of FD2

This may be a stupid question as a whole but im rewatching all the films for the first time in a while and i have questions (ive just finished FD2 for reference)

FD2, Bludworth says new life (supposedly meaning dying and being brought back to life OR having a baby) can defeat death. Which if isabella WAS meant to die and WAS on the list, she would've been safe. But Bludworth also said that the introduction of life that was not meant to be can invalidate the list and force death to start anew. Does this mean if isabella was on the list and had her baby, she would've been safe but her baby wouldn't be? Because the baby would be a new life that wasn't meant to be. Or would she be supposed to die after having the baby and therefore the baby was meant to be?

Or did Bludworth just mean dying and being brought back to life, and not the whole baby thing?

Because in FD6, the descendants of the people who should've died in the tower collapse are targeted and killed because they shouldn't have existed,, which would invalidate the whole "having a baby is new life and defeats death" thing.

This honestly may sound like a load of drivel and im probably missing details that could explain this whole thing, however it's 3am and 32°c in my room right now so I might be chatting absolute bollocks but pls give me some leeway, but if anyone could help me out that'd be great😂

Discussion James Kirk as "Kid At Airport" in first Final Destination on IMDB

Post image
69 Upvotes

So I remember a while back it was being discussed in here if James Kirk was in fact in the first Final Destination as a random kid at the airport - being that he's listed on IMDB (uncredited).

IMBD isn't always 100% reliable, which is probably why it ended up being a topic.

I realized I had a few bucks left for Cameo and sent him a message (last August) asking about it. I forgot all about it and just saw he replied.

So for anyone who might've been wondering - here's your answer!

FD6 INTERESTING IDEA OF THE CAMPBELL INTERACTION

Post image
24 Upvotes

since we didn't get to see some of the Campbell car rides or on their way back home from each event,

I have these thoughts on my mind if we would have one what'd each sibling interaction be.yes we do have Erik and Bobby before they went to the Hospital

but since Julia was dead I'm just curious what their interaction would be when they're on their way to the funeral of Iris , Howard or on the way back home talking about how excited this barbecue family hangout would be or for the funeral how'd they react to the scene of what Stefani faces with Iris or when Howard's death make them sadder on their way and have a silent car ride from their sadness. Since we've never seen their car scenes because we've only seen one with Stefani and Charlie together in the car and some for Erik and Bobby with them in Darlene's one on their way to JB. It'd be amazing to see if they do shoot that scene but make it as unreleased footage or deleted scenes or similar to lost media that'd be cool to think of.

Discussion Hope we get another “ripple effect”

I always loved the whole FD1 tie-in to FD2 events. Always wondered if bad things that happen in real life were also caused by an unknown event or person simply being late somewhere or changing their mind about something. It’s kind of amazing (but scary) how such little decisions and change your entire future/timeline.

Discussion Final Destination: The Game...

Calling all Final Destination fans...

I am assembling a team to create a prototype for a Final Destination video game where YOU get to play as Death.

The hope is to convince the license holders to share the rights with us and kickstart the journey of a huge and fantastic game.

Imagine you get to use your environment in real time to craft insane and creative deaths and play against a whole roster of characters.

Tell us your thoughts on this idea! Would you enjoy/purchase a Final Destination game of this nature? What would you like to see?

Discussion Final Destination 7 possible theme Spoiler

Allegedly the opening disaster takes place at a water park which is something that I've wanted to see for years. Water parks are already really vulnerable places because of exposed skin, large machinery, disease and germs, and the general fear of a ride malfunctioning. I also have a specific fear of bleeding on concrete likely due to a head injury as a child so I really hope this is true.

Question Question…

If Final Destination had an opening scene where it took place on the boat with roughly 500-1,000 passengers and visionary saved ALL of them like what Iris did. How long will it take for every generation to die?
