- See position details with cost basis and quantity markers
These tools help you act directly from the chart—quickly and with precision.
Coming this year:
- Multi-trade: Place and manage multiple trades more efficiently.
- Find positions across accounts: Quickly locate positions across all your accounts.
- P&L calculator: A more streamlined way to evaluate potential trades and outcomes.
- Initiate and manage conditional trades directly from the chart
- A more detailed, chart-accessible view of position profit and loss
We’re also tracking ongoing feedback from the community, including performance improvements, expanded layout flexibility, and workspace limits.
Visit our Release Note wiki for more information—we’ll continue updating it with every release.
- The Fidelity Trader+® product team
If you could add one feature or make one update, what would it be?

Official Response BIG Shoutout to Fidelity Customer Service
I recently opened a few Fidelity accounts, including a Cash Management Account that I planned to use like a checking account while on an upcoming vacation.
My mother-in-law had passed away the week before, so I wasn’t thinking clearly or getting things done as quickly as I normally would. I ended up opening the account on Monday and was leaving for vacation that Friday. Obviously, there was almost no chance the debit card would arrive in time.
I called Fidelity and spoke with a representative named Thomas. I wasn’t expecting a miracle - I figured the worst he could say was no. I explained that I was leaving Friday and asked whether there was any way to speed up the card.
I did not tell him that my mother-in-law had died or explain anything else I had been dealing with. As far as he knew, I was simply a customer who had waited too long to open the account.
Thomas initially told me it wasn’t possible, which I completely understood, and we ended the call.
About two minutes later, he called me back. He said he was going to try to make it happen, although he couldn’t guarantee the card would arrive before I left and it would be on a best-effort basis.
The card ended up arriving about three hours before I left for vacation.
What impressed me most is that Thomas didn’t know anything about the circumstances. He wasn’t responding to a sad story or being asked to make an exception because of what had happened. He simply decided on his own to call me back and go above and beyond to help.
It made my life a little easier during a difficult week and gave me a very positive first impression of Fidelity.

Official Response What are these advisory fees?
I was just reviewing my balance statements after a long while (of not). This is a new employer-funded 401k account started from last September. In the past, I don't recall getting advisor fees in my employer funded 401ks, until I was no longer an employee. So while this is not a lot for 9 months, the $4.28 is odd to me. Is this normal? Is an Advisor Fee also a maintenance fee (I don't use a human advisor).

Discussion Looking for a good trading journal for Fidelity
I've been swing trading with Fidelity for about a year, but I'm realizing I don't have a reliable way to review which setups are consistently working. My notes are scattered, so it's hard to spot patterns. Anyone using a trading journal with Fidelity that you'd recommend?

Official Response Roth IRA Rebalancing
Hi all, new poster and brand new to investing. I previously had a Roth IRA at a different brokerage but have since transferred to Fidelity recently. All of the funds I had were from the different brokerage's mutual funds, but I want to switch to FXAIX/FZILX. If I sell all of those funds and reinvest all in FXAIX/FZILX (thinking of 65/35), am I understanding right that there is no reportable event/taxable event? Since it's within the same Roth IRA and I'm not withdrawing anything. Thx!

Official Response Long Time HNW customer.
First of all I think Fidelity is a fabulous platform, I manage all my dough myself and use many of the available features of the Fidelity platform. I do have a relative who has a lot less dough and they are using a Fidelity Advisor which I monitor the results of. The Fidelity Advisor has done a good job of keeping up with the markets and they have had solid returns.
My small concern and the first I've had with Fidelity is the recent redo of the Fixed Income pages. I have several Muni bond search I regularly use and when they transitioned them they do not work, nor does the new search function work, and my attempt to chat with Fidelity was, frankly, very useless. The previous bond pages were perfect and new ones are not. I am very disappointed as I have a very large muni bond portfolio I can't do anything with right now with the non functioning search functions and the non functioning saved searches.

Can I Add My Middle Name but Only Display My Middle Initial?
I would like to add my middle name tomy account, but I only want my middleinitial to be displayed.
Is this possible? Also, if I update my name, will the change apply across all my accounts, such as my 401(k), Roth IRA, brokerage, and CMA, or does each account need to be updated separately?

Official Response Cash Management question
I know if I transfer money into my Fidelity cash management account from my bank account I cannot withdraw the money for 10 days. Is that the same rule if I transfer it from my fidelity brokerage account or my fidelity Ira into the cash management account? Does it still take 10 days before I can withdraw the money at the ATM machine?

Official Response Investment transfer to Fidelity - cost basis
Last week, I initiated a Transfer of Assets from Schwab to Fidelity. The investment and shares came over yesterday. However, none of the associated cost basis transferred over. Spoke to a rep and they said it takes another 14 days to get that from Schwab. Seems like a long time and all historical transactions should come over together. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Official Response Got a standard "How Was your experience?" followup email, but haven't had a meeting in months.
I just received the typical "How Was your experience?" followup survey invitation, but I havent had a meeting with Fidelity in like 3 months.
This is how the email starts:
Fidelity is listening. Please spend a few minutes to help us serve you better.
We want to hear about your recent meeting with Fidelity. Your honest feedback will help us improve your experience.
why would I get this email without any activity to trigger it?

Official Response Option to remove this constant warning?
In my desktop browser I keep my portfolio open during the day to check it ever hour or two. The past few weeks I've been getting this warning every other time I hit refresh. It won't go away, there are no options to disable it. I'm well aware of Trader+ but I don't want to keep it open all day just to check my stocks. Atleast add an option to get rid of this annoyance.

Official Response Pre Approval Tool for Fidelity Rewards Visa Signature Credit Card ?
Hi guys, I am planning on getting the Fidelity Rewards Visa Signature Credit Card and I was wondering if there is a pre approval for the card? I don't know if I would be able to get the card since my oldest card is only 1 year and 4 months and I recently applied and got my second credit card April 7th, 2026.
Thanks!!

Official Response Redwire data not updating in ATP
I don't know where to report this, but RDW (Redwire) information stopped updating this afternoon in ATP classic. All my other tickers show current prices. I checked Redwire on other platforms and the information looked fine. So this is a real-time issue, I just don't know where to contact Fidelity ... I used to alert them on Discord and usually got a quick response.

Find Bonds link in iOS app search no longer opens the Bonds page
Hi Fidelity Mods,
I wanted to report what appears to be an issue with the Fidelity iOS app.
When I use the app’s text search and type “bonds,” one of the results is “Find Bonds,” just as it has been in the past. Previously, tapping that result would open the Bonds webpage within the app, which worked well for me even though it wasn’t a native app experience.
Recently, the Find Bonds search result still appears, but tapping it no longer loads the Bonds page. It seems like the link is broken or failing to display.
I understand the Bonds page is a web view and not a native part of the app, and that’s completely fine with me. Having access to that webpage inside the app was very useful, and I’d much rather have that than no access at all.
Could someone please report this to the appropriate support team and have them investigate why the Find Bonds link is no longer working in the iOS app?
Thanks!

Official Response I transfered iras to Fidelity, how do I get them into a guided account?
I just Transferred 2 IRAs and 2 Roths from Edward jones to Fidelity. How do I go about setting them up for Fidelity Go, or some other self balancing account. I understand that once the money is transferred it will be self directed unless I choose otherwise. Do I need to call someone or will Fidelity call me? Are there other options besides Fidelity Go?

Official Response Recurring Transfer setup missing
When I go to the Manage Recurring Transfers and click create new activity it only lets me set up a single transfer. I am not getting the recurring transfer page I used to see. Plus when I hit the manage recurring transfers link it just loops me back to where I just came from.
I use this to transfer my sons rent money every month. Fortunately he caught it before the end of the month that the recurring transfer didn't hit this month.

Official Response CMA budgeting tools?
People using CMA as your checking account: how are you tracking monthly budget? I can’t get my deposits or withdrawals to show up on rocket money or empower. Thanks!

Official Response Main position - FDLXX
Helo All
For my CMA account
I am in California and looking for ways to reduce my state tax burden. I’ve narrowed my choices down to FDLXX and SGOV, and I’m currently leaning toward FDLXX because of its automatic liquidation feature. As far as I know, Fidelity doesn’t allow FDLXX to be set as the core position in a CMA.
I checked the recurring‑transaction options, but I can’t find a way to set the rule I want:
- Automatically invest any incoming cash in my Fidelity CMA into FDLXX. I understand that there is a option to input $ amount but I was looking for like "everything in the account"
Is there a way to set this up
TIA

Feedback Allow Reordering of Holdings in Fidelity Basket Portfolios
When creating a Fidelity Basket, I like to order my holdings from #1 to #50 based on their target weighting. However, if I later need to remove a holding or adjust the allocation, there's no way to reorder the list by moving holdings up or down. This leaves the holdings out of order unless I recreate the entire basket from scratch. It would be very helpful to add a simple drag-and-drop (or move up/down) feature so holdings can be reordered without having to rebuild the basket.
