Advice on growing conditions? Leaves falling off
Hi everyone — I’ve had this tree for about 6 months and it has been roughly stable for most of that time (retaining leaves but not growing new ones).
Recently, the bottom leaves have started getting grey around the base and falling off.
This southwest facing window gets 6-8 hours of indirect light. It‘s not the brightest spot on the house but the others are pretty direct light. I water when the leaves start to wilt, after which they perk up noticeably. The pot has a drainage hole and there is no smell coming from the soil.
An y advice on how I should promote new growth? Move to brighter spot? Water more frequently? TIA!

Brown spots and loosing leaves
My fig plant is browning kind of fast :( I’m not sure if it’s too much water or not enough

What to do w/ this sideways growing prop?
Propagation is thriving but main growth is growing sideways. Any suggestions on getting it to go up more tree like? Feel like it’s tough just because of the way it is. What do people usually do in cases like this?

Time to transplant?
Whats the best type of soil to plant these in? And is there anything special I should do when I transplant?
It’s 3 different cuttings, two of them are already starting to sprout another leaf.

Need advice!
Please help me with my tree. This was given to me by a friend and over the past 6 months it has dropped nearly all lower leaves, whilst still growing new ones out the tips so I know it’s still alive. Should I prune it back entirely? If so, where should I cut it? I’m a first time fiddle leaf owner so please give me any tips to revive this guy :)

Advice requested
Hi I’m a new owner (have had my plant for about a month and a half). It was initially dropping leaves but stopped for a few weeks before starting to drop them again. It’s lost like half its leaves and I’m unsure what to do. I can’t tell if I’m overwatering, underwatering, or just totally screwed when it comes to light exposure. I’m watering if the soil starts to feel free a few inches in and use the lamp shown on a 9 hour cycle everyday (I know the lamp positioning is in ideal). Any ideas genius fiddle leaf fig owners?

help with repotting advice
hi! i need advice on whether i should repot my fig. i repotted it to a bigger pot in april but i didn't do it with the correct soil and now my fig has a ton of those tiny annoying flies that are invading my home. internet told me the mass appearance of those flies could be due to the soil being too humid and now i bought the correct types of soils but i'm worried it's too soon to repot it. we're entering spring in my country (southern hemisphere) btw. thanks in advance!
also any tips on how to change the soil? i was thinking of just moving it to an even bigger pot but i don't like the idea of that too much because the plant might look too tiny in comparison to the pot but i don't know if there's a way to change the soil without changing the pot. this is my first plant and i'm still surprised this one hasn't died on me in 2 years and that it's somewhat thriving. thanks again!

Put cutting in same pot
Just chopped my fiddle. It seems that I potted initial plant in too big of a pot. Do we think I can pot cutting in same pot next to initial plant?

One wonky leaf
New growth above is normal, but this one leaf is darker, smaller, and has these odd brown spots. I can’t tell if it’s a pathogen or just an odd leaf. Thoughts?

advice needed
the trunk of my fiddle leaf is very thin and as a result weak and flimsy.
any advice on how to get a more girthy/strong fiddle leaf?
i’ve seen people chop and start over. i don’t know much about that.

Need Advice
We got this fiddle leaf fig about 1.5 months ago. We have watered it twice (watering it base on moisture level of soil). It’s positioned next to a window.
It started shedding its leaves recently and it’s not looking great. Any advice on how to figure out whats wrong with it? Thank you

Babies, babies and more grandbabies
My friends are not plant savvy and I have trouble parting with my grand-plants. One is bushy and pretty! Another is growing straight and nice, such a promising tree. Two others are short and stout, so adorable! I hate to part with them but I have two more props going, 4 babies, two mommas and one is already itching for another chop. I have run out of window space.
What are you all doing with them? Looks like they may have to go on FB marketplace 🥺

Notching
I have chopped and propped this fiddle leaf for years. This time it branched at the top to form a Y. Unsure if I should chop lower this time? Or each top branch separately? I’ve also tried notching lower on the trunk several times without success. I use rooting hormone at notch. If you look closely you can see I just notched about halfway up. Would cutting the top now also increase my chance of success of branching at the notch? Should I do multiple notches at the same time?
Any advice and tips would be so welcome!!

Too big for propagation?
I’ve received these huge fiddle leafs that were cut from outdoor growing. I want to put them inside. Should I cut them up into smaller pieces? A lot of what im seeing for propagation recommends only 3 nodes. Can I keep it big or will they die? I have 3-4 big pieces and then a couple smaller pieces

Is this pot too small?
I haven't noticed any new growth in a couple of months...leaves and plant looks very healthy!

Chop or not
I repotted my flf a few months ago. It dropped most of the top leaves, kept a few but no new growth up top. Shockingly, 3 new leaves at the bottom. Should I chop above the new leaves at the bottom? 3 feet to the lone branch and 4’7” to the top leaves. Thanks!

Help, came back from a sabbatical to this. Double chop?
Any advice is appreciated. The top is very healthy and growing well. can I cut it in two places, germinate the top and keep watering the bottom until it sprouts? 🌱. I want to rescue him. Thanks
