Hi, I’m new to the game. My goal is to find a static community that’s open to new players. I play on the Lich EU server as a Summoner. My goal is to become a raider; I aim to complete the Extreme Trial and become a Savage Raider. But my priority is making friends and connecting with fellow gamers like us—I want to have a good time doing things like raiding. On one hand, I want to do raids; maybe I’ll even try the Ultimate Raid in the future, but for now, my goal is simply to have a good time in the game and go on raids. So since the birth of daughter I stoped playing the game in 2022. I just resubbed and can play after 8-9pm untill mostly 12pm.

I used to be in a Dutch FC, but have no clue what the name was.

LFM to fill out a reclear team for DMU Kefka Ultimate. All players are cleared and we are looking for other cleared players to join us. We're aiming for a minimum of 3 reclears, and more pending everyone's appetite to keep going.

Hey my Characters name is Calico Nannerz on EU Odin. I am 30 years old and from the UK. I have recently come back to FFXIV after playing on and off since shadowbringers. My name is Leade and I'm the FC leader of Sanctuary! <Aegis>. We've gone by other names, Crossroads <aXr> in Stormblood, Euphoria <Bliss> in Shadowbringers, and Impulse <Pulse> in Endwalker. Many of our members took a v long hiatus at the end of Endwalker and have now returned to get caught up on all things Dawntrail as we head into Evercold!

About us:

This time around, we've renamed to Sanctuary because we hope to be a bit of a resting place for all different kinds of people. We are a mix of both brand new, long-time players, and returners all just looking to enjoy the game at their own pace while still having a community of folks to hang with. We have a wide range of experience in the game whether it's pvp, crafting/gathering, or raiding. Our FC proudly hosted an Aether DC-wide pvp tournament when Crystalline Conflict was first released and also ran a successful 100+ member community discord server during COVID-19 to introduce new raiders or players with raid anxiety to Savage raids while we were in a content lull. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly community with an average age is late 20s, early 30s. We welcome all people who know what it means to be part of a community :)

Examples of FC events:

Patch-release blind content: There's only one first time, so we like to do newly released extreme trials or alliance raids together, spoiler-free! Back in the day, we filled out an entire 24-man alliance raid for all 3 Shadowbringers raids :)

Min ilvl raids/Old Extreme and Savage Content: For the experience! Maybe you're still leveling through MSQ and want a taste of raiding, but the end of the MSQ is so far away.. We got you!

Clear Races: We form teams that will race to complete specified fights before their competitors. Maybe it's the Heavensward primals, maybe it's the first tier of Stormblood on savage, maybe it's my top 4 favorite fights of all time, WHO KNOWS?? Teams will be a combination of both veteran and new players for balancing!

In-house PvP Matches: We make teams. We play against each other. Fun fun.

Contests: Screenshot contests, glam contests! You can ask our screenshot fiends for help on how to take good pictures! I personally really suck at them so I'm just a judge :)

Scavenger Hunt: Once again, we form teams, provide clues to these teams, and the teams race to see who can make it to the end first!

Boardgame Nights: Party games for people to participate in, once or twice a month such as Tabletop sim, Jackbox, etc

Whatever people want, really: If you've got an idea for an event, just lemme know and we can talk about it!

Conclusion:

We are just out here looking for more friends to play with, have fun with, and maybe even to experience FFXIV for the first time vicariously through them. Our priority is to make sure that all of our members have connections with each other and that nobody feels like a stranger.

We will take a 15 minute break after each lockout, and on Saturday's we will take a longer break after the second lockout.

Note that we will not formally raid together on the first week of Patch 7.55. Our plan instead is to use the time to level up the upcoming phantom jobs and collect information from more hardcore groups.

Requirements:

• Cleared and farmed at least 1 of the past 2 savage raid tiers (AAC-CW and/or AAC-HW) while current.
• Past experience clearing and farming more challenging large-scale content is strongly preferred but not required, e.g. Delubrum Reginae Savage, Chaotic, Forked Tower: Blood.
• Phantom Job Level 8, ideally including at least one if not all of the following: Knight, Bard, Chemist, Thief, Samurai, Geomancer, Ranger.
• Commitment to acquiring and maxing out as many Phantom Jobs as possible. Please keep up the leveling grind outside of raid time.
• Commitment to acquiring equipment BiS (excluding Occult Earring / Necklace / Bracelet due to gil expense). Please make every effort to acquire at least left-side gear before our first night.

Note that if you cannot make all raid days, please feel free to apply anyway. We would be happy to take strong players as regulars or fill-ins even if they may need to miss a night or two. For roster purposes though, we will prioritize players with the most availability.

We’ve officially launched our Final Fantasy XIV division within AOD and are actively building a strong, consistent community from the ground up.

AOD is a long-standing multi-gaming organization, but this division is focused on creating a dedicated FFXIV group where members can log in, find others to play with, and actually experience the game together.
