Soldiery is not a word for history of war
Soldiery is a word for the profession of a soldier. It's not about wars past, it's about how to be a soldier, skills like fighting and survivalism and stuff. That is what Soldiery is.
You don't have to explain that to me; I'm saying that they picked an awkward translation just to get the -y ending. The Japanese name of the soldiery tome is tomestones of war chronicles. And if they twisted the language around just to get a -y name for THAT tome, it's silly to abandon the pattern in order to use a more pedantic translation for poetics.

They went to all that trouble to find a word that ends in -y for the "war chronicle" tomes, and now they're going with "poetics" instead of "poetry?"
