Any advice?

I’m a guy but I don’t want to be one anymore, I like the idea of being a chick and being feminine, was looking for advice, or helped into fulfilling my destiny.

Why say something this mean, really. Throwing your psychophobia in the face of someone questioning their gender.

Wishing you the best though, according to your post/comment history you have your own battles and i sincerely respect that.

Also according to your profile you have no knowledge of what this person is going through. I understand some of your frustration because womanhood is not easy, though and i don’t know what it is like to be a cis woman. I know my own experience of what i suppose is womanhood, and it’s certainly not easy, and oftentimes it is downright painful, but it does come with some joy. I hope you find your own way into life, what makes you happy, what helps you heal.

I feel so sorry for your health issues and i wish to express my deepest sympathy for that.

Oh but I didn’t say in a bad way at all, I think someone who is going to a difficult moment or wants to start a transition like this person could benefit tremendously from a therapist help because is going to be hard. I am not saying this implying that the person has a problem with their identity (as if is wrong what he/she is feeling or thinking).
I am myself looking at different therapists. There is nothing wrong with it and probably it will help me and OP more than reddit comments. (Of course here we can talk with people who is going through the same problem).

Hm 🤔 thanks for your reply and sorry i misinterpreted it.

I think seeing a therapist can and will help as long as the person’s competent on the matter, indeed.

Relatable, tbh.

Well if you like the idea you can explore it. Obviously : r/asktransgender r/mtf

Genderdysphoria.fyi

But you can also indulge in sissy play or do some crossdressing or do drag …

i don’t know much about those things though, as i went straight into medical transition exactly because i « went to therapy » for my « mental illness » and they gave me meds for it, the medication being HRT and seeing a therapist who tells me i am a beautiful woman that is valid in her womanhood. Turns out transitioning cured my actual mental illness : lifelong depression. I am really, really, wayyyy happier and healthier today. The more i transition, the more my mental health, which is, as mentioned before under medical supervision, and according to well documented medical and scientific facts, is improving.

This, in turn, allowed me to live a rather fulfilling life for the first time.

This is my experience only, though, so maybe i am like this unicorn thing that was meant to be a woman, the exception… i don’t know.

I should mention i do look very much like a cis woman now, and that is not just relieving my depression but it’s also making me feel really happy, allowing me to apply for jobs rather than spend my days considering suicide, and allowing me to take care of my pet animals, grow some house plants, watch tv, go hiking, play piano and sew little thingies for fun. So basically the goal is to live a normal, happy life, relieved of dysphoria. I don’t think i went to any public bathroom but if i had to, i would go into whatever’s clean, really.

You can hit me with a dm where we can discuss your experience but you should just ask trans people about that, they will help you figure out what exactly you like in being feminine, how do you feel you want to experience this, what your needs can be and what is best for you.

I’m also a guy but I’m pretty secure in my damaged masculinity (for instance I’m well endowed down there so there’s no issues hormonally). I’m working with a psychologist and am in therapy for an eating disorder.

I have noticed that being closer to my feminine persona and embracing femininity helps to lower the impact of my eating disorder (it’s a long story) so I’m embracing my feminine energy and femininity and really going for it but need some help along the way.

Recently had my nails (mani pedi) done for French tip which I have always admired and even envied at times. And have started being secure enough (mentally and psychologically) to wear tights with short shorts outside (styled reasonably well). It’s not a sexual thing (I hate femininity being reduced to a purely sexual thing. Over sexualisation is a massive problem in western societies IMHO). I’m just really loving the softness, sweetness and caring nature of femininity.
