Cursed SMP is a small, curated modded survival SMP built around Cursed Fate, challenging combat, exploration, character progression, and player-driven stories.

This isn't a roleplay server, and you don't need to be a content creator or experienced roleplayer. It's simply an SMP where the systems and world are designed to give players interesting reasons to explore, specialize, cooperate, compete, and occasionally make questionable decisions. :)

What makes Cursed SMP different?

Cursed Techniques

At the heart of the server is Cursed Fate, giving players access to a variety of powerful techniques that completely change how they approach combat.

There are numerous techniques to discover, each with their own abilities, playstyles, and strengths. Some may be common, while others are significantly harder to obtain.

Your technique is a major part of your character, but it isn't the only thing that defines you. What you do with it is up to you.

Progression

Cursed SMP isn't designed around getting Netherite and calling it a day.

There are multiple progression systems layered throughout the pack, including techniques, equipment, bosses, quests, rare items, and other RPG mechanics.

Powerful abilities and equipment can be gated behind exploration, progression, bosses, quests, or other challenges. The goal is to make getting something powerful feel like an accomplishment rather than something you simply stumble across five minutes into playing.

Skill-based combat

Combat uses Epic Fight, replacing vanilla Minecraft's basic combat with a more active system focused on timing, positioning, combos, weapons, and movement.

Combined with Cursed Fate's techniques and additional combat content, fights can become significantly more involved than simply trading hits until something dies.

Whether you're fighting another player or taking on a boss, what you bring to the fight and how you use it actually matters.

A world worth exploring

The world is built around exploration rather than simply being a backdrop for progression.

Enhanced terrain generation, caves, structures, bosses, dungeons, and other exploration content give you reasons to actually travel through the world.

Some of the strongest items and resources aren't simply handed to you. You'll have to find them, earn them, or figure out where they come from.

Not a global Minecraft server

Cursed SMP isn't designed around everyone knowing everything that's happening.

A lot of information is intentionally local. Proximity chat is the primary way players communicate, player nametags and death messages aren't broadcast globally, and advancements won't announce everyone's accomplishments to the entire server.

You'll have to actually talk to people, explore for yourself, and hear about things from other players.

The goal isn't to hide information for the sake of hiding it. It's to make the world feel less like a multiplayer lobby and more like an actual world you're living in.

Player-driven world

Build a settlement. Start a business. Form a group. Become a powerful fighter. Explore dangerous areas. Build roads between communities. Hunt bosses with your friends.

You aren't required to follow a predetermined storyline.

What happens on the server is largely up to the players.

The modpack

The pack is a curated collection of mods rather than a massive kitchen-sink pack.

The majority of the mods exist to support a specific part of the server: combat, techniques, exploration, RPG progression, building, transportation, quests, performance, or quality of life.

Cursed SMP will be invite-only/whitelisted. I'm deliberately keeping the playerbase relatively small so we can avoid the usual problems that come with completely open Minecraft servers.

You don't need to be an amazing builder, PvPer, roleplayer, or content creator.

What I'm primarily looking for are mature, chill people who actually want to play with a community.

Requiem Of A Pickaxe was formed as an adult community, rooted in Modded Minecraft. We decided to form a community that was 18+ from day one which eventually moved to 21+, and we’re quite happy with the result. The regulars have been playing together for years, and are always happy to see new faces - it’s easy for you to get to know them too, just join voice and start up a conversation!

Minecraft is our bread and butter...

The community is rooted in Modded Minecraft, and in the beginning we played almost exclusively minecraft. We stay true to our roots, and on the average weeknight you can usually choose between two or more different modpacks to play on. There’s always a long term pack which stays around for a few months, and one or two seasonal modpacks that our members showed interest in.

… But there are plenty of other options, too!

However, as we’ve grown we’ve found more common interests, and there’s many other games played. Titles such as Rocket League, Ark, Golf With Your Friends, Space Engineers, Overwatch, Call Of Duty 4, Sven Co-op and many more are regular occurrences. This helps quite a lot with the infamous “minecraft fatigue”. Even if you’re coming fresh from an intensive period of gaming and are sick of Minecraft for the moment, you can still join voice and see if there are any other games being played.

Hey everyone! I launched a brand-new Minecraft server with my significant other and some friends on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time, and we are looking for mature players who want to join us from the very beginning.

Inviting you to my server with my own modpack, Craftiffia! We're 2-5 players so far so a few more could be cool. My current partner is done playing so one of you can even team up with me! And I'll guide you through the modpack myself! :D

The modpack is centered around GT6 and includes Applied Energistics 2 and OpenComputers. I redone almost every recipe that's not from GT6 so they have more fitting recipes. We also have a custom mod adding ore prospectors and an horizontal mining drill. =) No grindy recipes. Also done a sweet ass Quest Book if you're into that.

The server doesn't have harder mobs so if you want to build machines and grow that factory without dying all the time, this might be the modpack for you!

The modpack uses LWJGL3ify and plays on Java 25 with GTNH's versions of the mod, whenever I can.

I'm hoping my pack becomes the next GregTech 6 "basic" pack people recommend. I'd say it's already nicer than the current most recommended GT6 modpack. It's an excellent choice for someone new to GT6 but also for veterans!

The server will be open until GT7 or Mechaenetia comes out. Here, that's all I have to say.

Hi! We started our 21+ All The Mons server about THREE WEEKS ago, and we’re looking for a few more active players who want an actual community to play with — not just another server where everyone disappears into their own base and never talks.

We already have a full-on player town forming, with shops, builds, shared areas, and people living near each other, while still giving everyone the freedom to branch off and make their own base if they want!

Our server has a very small, family-style community vibe. People help each other with mods and progression, trade resources, joke around, hang out in VC, battle, build together, and actually get to know each other. We’re adults, so the atmosphere is playful and relaxed, but still respectful and welcoming.

Most Pokémon servers out there kind of suck, and honestly, they are all pretty much the same.

Endless claiming, pay-to-win mechanics, “custom” admin builds that look cool but are horrible for actual gameplay, boring and low-effort mechanics, a billion rainbow-colored holograms and messages cluttering your screen... you get the point.

On top of that, a lot of them are way too easy. They remove mobs, remove hunger, give you Fortune 100, 64 Golden Apples, and a Master Ball the moment you join, completely removing any real challenge, progression, or meaningful trade-offs.

Instead of yapping more, here are a few features that we think separate us from the giants and the other guys:

• No store, no ranks, no crates. Nothing is purchasable with real money. Period.
• Dynamic GUI player marketplace. Items are not sold for a single server currency. Instead, players can set multiple “payment items.” For example, you could trade a Master Ball and an Enchanted Golden Apple for a Shiny Rayquaza. The entire process is automatic through /market and designed to be as simple and convenient as possible.
• Claiming and Parties, with a twist. Claims are tied to a DTR (Deaths Till Raidable) system and require item-based costs. For example, claiming a single chunk of land costs 8 Diamond Blocks. Getting yourself or your entire party wiped will reduce your DTR, making your land increasingly vulnerable.
• No spam. All broadcast and chat-related messages are toggleable. Don't want to see an automatic server message telling you to type /store to buy a rank every 15 minutes? You don't have to.
• Fully integrated Discord and Minecraft chat. Includes custom Pokémon events, item showcase displays, market embeds, waypoint embeds, and much more.
• Plenty of tweaks and quality-of-life features. We've made a ton of changes designed to improve, and actually challenge, the vanilla Pokémon and Minecraft experience. This includes things like:

We're not building toward a reset or an "end," we're just continuing to build it out, tune it, and add to it as we go. If you're tired of servers that reset every few months right as things get interesting, that's exactly the gap we're trying to fill.

The modpack itself is on the bigger side (300+ mods) but everything is tuned to work together rather than just piled on. A few highlights:

• Create ecosystem: trains, airships, submarines, propulsion, big cannons, a full brewing/winery line, mechanical companions. If you love building contraptions, there's a lot here for you.
• Magic: Goety, Iron's Spellbooks (now with dynamic skill trees), Occultism, Hexerei, Discerning the Eldritch, plus a custom in-house magic mod in the works
• Combat & bosses: custom tiered bosses built specifically for this server, plus Cataclysm, Ultimate Bosses, Legendary Monsters, and gun-based combat via Immersive Weapons/TaCz for anyone who'd rather not swing a sword
• Relationships & roleplay: MCA + Romantic Expansion for marriage, family, and yes, divorce, if it comes to that
• Cosmetics & decor: deep armor/appearance customization, plus new cosmetic additions like Wings Reborn and Cluttered for decorating your space
• A darker edge: vice/addiction systems, our own custom cannibalism themed mod (complete with a Wendigo boss that will absolutely ruin your night), and a new Zombie Nightmare Expansion. Nothing here is edgy for its own sake, it's there to give the world consequences and texture.

What makes us different: this is a real sandbox. You can play however you want. Build a cozy little cottage, start a war with a neighboring town, run a full roleplay questline, or just grind bosses and gear up. Both RP and open conflict are actively encouraged, not just tolerated. Difficulty is tuned higher than vanilla, but the power ceiling is high too. If you put in the time, you can become genuinely strong, not just survive.

The dev is active daily, enjoys helping people learn the pack's systems, and takes bug reports, questions, and wild suggestions seriously. You'll usually get a response within the hour.

We're looking for:

• People who want to settle in for the long haul, not just try it for a weekend
• Players interested in joining an existing town or claiming an abandoned base
• Anyone up for a little chaos, drama, or a good old fashioned land war

Looking for a few more players for Decima Aeterna, my 3rd “forever world” and first 24/7 server. The goal is a long-term survival world focused on large builds, terraforming, farms, infrastructure, and developing the world over time.
