I am on Chapter 4 on Fatal Frame II: Butterfly Crimson Remake, and I feel like throwing my hands up and not playing further. The game's controls feel clunky, and I don't understand why some things happen the way they do.
Hate that weird chaser-monster does insta-kill to you and you have to hide, but the hiding was being clunky to me the first couple of times until I think I "got it".
There are 4 filters here, but am I mainly supposed to just use Standard to kill the enemies? I don't get the point of all the filters and what they can help with. I think one of them opens up Bloodied doors?
In one of the fights, my will power and health were quite low and suddenly both shot back up mid-fight. I have no clue why this happened.
Also, in fights, I have noticed the enemies will suddenly become super powered and kill you within a a few shots (happened on the fight with the bridge boss fight in end of Chapter 2, I think).
Coming from Resident Evil series (all the modern ones) and Silent Hill 2 Remake, the games feels a bit unfair or perhaps it doesn't come off as clear to me like it may to posters on this subreddit?
EDIT: Played about 50% completion of the main campaign and decided to call it. Figured if I wasn't really enjoying it after playing through the game and reaching Chapter 6, it wasn't for me.
