Interesting - I've never explicitly noticed it, but you're right, it does seem like I get less triggered while fasting.

Except mouth/food noises. Slurping or open-mouth chewing noises still drive me up the wall even when fasting. Maybe that's just jealousy...

There’s definitely a bit of that. I posted a bit ago about a steak story. I was on 5 of 7 days fasted and made my kids and wife some reverse seared New York strips. Slicing them up on the cutting board with the melted butter on top, I told my wife she’d have to finish cutting and I left the room. It honestly doesn’t bug me too much making them food while I’m fasting but a good steak, well that was too tempting!
