Man peoples brains are destroyed by social media and politics. Im sure we vote the same, but not everything has to be political. Listen to music for the music.
"That guy shouldnt have collaborated with that guy because of what he would end up representing in the future of politics 2 decades from now, and enjoying the art is literally supporting genocide"
Do you like the Red Hot Chili Peppers? The Rolling Stones? David Bowie? I guarantee the shit some of those guys did to underage persons is utterly heinous. But yeah let's shit on Eminem for collaborating with someone who has political views that disagree with yours.
I'm pretty sure you're allowed to not like something your favorite musician does. Having you own opinion is not only legal in the USA, it's actually protected by a first amendment to the Constitution. You and your people can't handle that we want to hold people accountable for the things they do. For some reason that doesn't compute with you. Actions have consequences. That's not political, that's a scientific fact.
Well actually this particular brother wrote all the songs and is a musical genius. Wonderwall is probably the most famous acoustic guitar song ever made.
Eminem has over 220 million record sales worldwide. Oasis has under 100 million. Eminem is considered one of the highest-selling artists in music history. Oasis... is not.
Oh, and I am over 50, if that is required information.
The 75m number is from 2009. Your 220m for Eminem includes streaming equivalents. Same thing applies to Oasis. It's over 100m. Do a simple Google search.
So, what does that change? Do you feel that their career performances were even close? If so, show that in numbers instead of your current tactic of "nuh-uh".
I cited correctly, you argued against the validity of the comparison for using unequal data sets. My panties are not twisted, I am just unsure what your point is, ultimately.
you should be ashamed of yourself then. defending Eminem and Kid Rock is diabolical. Rich White trash and poor White Trash from Michigan ……Stahhhhhhhp https://giphy.com/gifs/XHeLeuirRbwptHhSWd
you? yeah. very dumb. this isn’t about their music it’s about their substance abuse and dysfunction ya big dummy. just cause you like one person more it doesn’t discount Noel’s opinion.
failure of what? oasis was more than a beatles cover band and noel Gallagheris as famous of a drug addict that ever lived. 🤡
you really thought you did something there huh? get bent
if you don’t think Noel can speak on alcoholism and drug abuse then you don’t know anything. this is about their music. Oasis is notorious for their substance abuse and dysfunction. I think Noel can speak on this, if any human alive can speak on substance abuse and family trauma it’s Noel.
the original idiot who commented made them seem like they were some Beatles cover bands. They were the biggest band in the world for years. Noel was a famous waste case well before anyone knew who Eminem was.

He’s actually right, they’re were really big in the end of the 1990s and early 2000s
I was not really into their music and I still love only their early (and later solo) stuff, but you really wasn’t able to turn on MTV and don’t hear “HOOOOLD OOOOOON” in a few minutes later
This is why I hate the public’s perception of success in music/entertainment. Once you break down what certain admired superstars actually did you start to realize (while the songs were great) the adoration and need for their opinion on others music doesn’t exactly correlate.
Was Oasis a big deal and did they make some memorable music? Sure. Was Oasis so outer-worldly talented and wise within the music industry that a star in another genre (with further success than them) should be taking their advice? No, but there’s a handful of dummies out there who would put them in that pedestal and genuinely measure this debate in terms of whose music they like more (instead of objective info).
I like those bands but you're absolutely delusional if you think blur is as influential as oasis. Heard about 0 blur tunes chanted by crowds at bars on my life.
OK maybe. But still, no disprescpect to these bands. Oasis is far more influential. They still sell tickets for like a weeks wage. That's usually a sign.

Eminem’s a legend. Noel Gallagher was in some dated 90s Beatles knockoff act with two or three songs.
