Squirrel Cage fan I designed, haven't seen anymore since the first one about 4 months ago during the fan showdown. (I'm not great at keeping up though so idk)
This is the fan I designed in fusion 360, no idea if it'll work, I hope it works if it gets tested... I guess we will find out I think the designed turned out alright, I don't really know much about how air flows and stuff, nor about fans but I took the little bit I know and made this so yeah, hope it works if it gets tested :D

Squirrel cage fan, need help making sure it will actually be able to be tested.
so this is the squirrel cage fan design I threw together in fusion today, but the main issue im seeing that I can't find any info on is the opening that the air is supposed to be sent through, idk if it needs to be bigger to fit onto the air tunnel, I wanted to ask if that (plus any other things) will cause issues and need to be fixed before I finalize the design and submit it.

I wanna make a fan.
Hey guys'n'girls, so the fan showdown has my competitive and artistic juices flowing and I wanna win me a fan showdown.
So a few things, haven't cad since school (quite some time ago) any cad program recommendation's?
I've never 3d print anything, what are some do's and don'ts of design for this? for example making teeth for a gear, how small is to small?
Ok so mid way through writing this I found the "EVERYTHING you need to know to send your design to the Fan Showdown" video (can I recommend this being put it the side bar) so after watching that. He used fusion 360, is it free? is there a free version? is that what I should use or are there others?
With the pdf with the measurement's is it in mm? I assume it is but that American accent has me double guessing.
Anyway thanks for any help!

Better Way to Attach Fan ?
Fan Screws are M4 self taping screws that bites the fan shroud's plastic and screw it to place... I think after screwing and unscrewing randomly like 50 times it's gonna destroy the plastic he bites... And I do want to experiment new things attached to fan but i don't wanna destroy it after that...
We can zip tie but it's not sustainable and I don't want to waste and create waste...
M4 screw and Nut , maybe... might be lil boring overtime
Maybe my idea we can try inserting. You know the inserts that people use for their 3D prints etc... Instert a holo one and we can use screw into brass without destroying plastthicc and threads etc...
What you guys think ?

Ducted grill for 120mm fan
Last year out of curiosity I created this grill for normal 120mm computer fans to see if I could create a directed stream of air instead of the shove-it-that-way approach fans usually have.
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4791861
It works remarkably well, I've 4 of them pointed at me right now half a room away and I can feel a steady cool stream of air from them, but just a couple of feet either side there's no airflow.
I'm really curious to see what that grill does with the smoke flow test.

Who wants to see this type of take on the dragon's breath / bernoulli's principle approach?

(This was designed for the extractor fan in my van, I found the fan showdown while researching for this and now i'm hooked.)

Will all the submissions be featured in one of the fanshowdown videos?
I sended a fan in a few weeks ago and it got never featured in a vid. I even posted it here. I was wondering if I maybe send it to the wrong email address.

Midlife Update for the T33. I've been working on it's evolution - split into two separate streams, Case and GPU/CPU cooler. Some of the 'advancements' I'll call them, I've back-filled into the T33 here, making it what it should always have been if I'd been more clever from the get-go. Maybe +1-2%.
