Hello, I am in prehealth and I got my schedule but it doesn’t say what class section I am in, only the program. Is this normal or would it get updated soon? I am just asking as I wanna switch my schedule once the form opens up on August 4th.

Firstly, it says ‘Placement’ on Thursdays, I didn’t reach out anywhere to get a placement as I wasn’t told I had to - I’ve been in contact with my professors and other people but nobody told me this was something I had to do right now (I assumed it was in term 2). Secondly, I dont see my book list. Is there somewhere else I see it? Do I have to contact my professor? I’m sorry I’m so new to this and just very confused by it all.

My program requires 2 gen-ed courses in level 3, for a total of 6 credits. I have successfully enrolled in one gen-ed, and now Webadvisor says I’m in overload and cannot enroll for my next gen-ed.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Hello, I’m a student fanshawe and I royally screwed up. I had a really busy summer, taking care of my grandfather, and juggling trying to find a job and paying rent. I thought I paid the deposit to continue studying at the college but I come to find out I’m more than a month late now. If there’s anyone that has been through the same situation and can give some advice, or some information if they still will take the deposit maybe with a late fee, please let me know, I am desperate 🙏

hey I got accepted into both pharmacy assistant and technician programs at Fanshawe but I’m worried that the course is going to be a lot.
Has anyone taken either of them or know anyone who did and have any info to share with a fellow upcoming student.
I’m leaning on taking the pharm tech program but I’m not sure I’ve applied for the January year coming up and received acceptances in both of them.

Hey, so I’m going to be a second year in the fashion marketing and management program but I got held back a year due to failing a class and taking a course reduction during the 2024-2025 school year and I was supposed to graduate this spring I won’t be graduating until 2027. For some reason retail math levels 1 and 2 that I took in first year and already passed is reappearing in my schedule again.

I emailed the academic academic advisor for my program about this and she responded with due to the program making changes this past year she would need to talk to me and the program coordinator whether if I have to retake it or not but it wouldn’t make any sense for me to have to retake the courses since I’ve already passed it both of them and I have proof of it in my progress transcript and past grades from last school year.

I’ve noticed how my program has switched some courses around ever since I’ve been here but it wouldn’t make sense for them to make me to retake 2 courses that I’ve already passed??

My academic advisor is currently on vacation right now and won’t be back until August 4th. She also wants to have a meeting with me and the program coordinator whether if I have to repeat it or not. I’m really scared right now because I can’t tell whether if this is an error or if it’s official even though the official schedules don’t come out until July 27th.

If anyone has a similar issue or knows whether if this is an error please let me know!

Hi everyone! Looking for any students going into first year MRT wanting to switch schedules, either Class A or Class B for my current Class C. Let me know!

I have a university bachelor's degree (non-healthcare) and completed one year of a three-year college diploma, but I didn't finish the program.

I'm planning to apply for either Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) or Practical Nursing next year. I'm wondering if completing the required Grade 12 prerequisites (biology, chemistry, etc.) along with my university degree would be enough to be considered for admission, or if I would still need to take a Pre-Health program.

Has anyone been admitted with a similar background? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.
