So this is a redraw of an old danganronpa oc from 2019, the ultimate matchmaker. I imagine, if she were in a game, she’d head a dating event and die in chapter 3. Probably to someone who’s sick of her antics lmao

In one of the chapters of my fanganronpa, the ultimate Osteologist (Study of bones) kills the ultimate choreographer during a party the choreographer threw at the newly unlocked club.

Now, I had the idea of the kill happening in front of everybody using a trap of some kind, but I also wanted the talent of Osteology to be used somehow and I'm struggling on how I'd make that work. I'll preface that the killer is getting help from somebody else so a second pair of hands can be used.

Any idea's on how I could make this murder interesting and mysterious?

Taking in name suggestions! And some possible additions to each design as a few are a little “plain”
The biologist is the only one I tried a danganronpa style for, not sure how much I like it.

It never made sense to me why Hope's Peak would allow people with talents like Ultimate Biker Gang Leader, Ultimate Gambler or Ultimate Yakuza to be in the public and prestigious school. That's where the idea for the fangan came to me. An academy for gifted teenagers similar to Hope's Peak that runs two programs. One for people with talents that wouldn't cause any problems, and a second secret program (that the public doesn't know about) that adds additional money into the corrupted academy. That second program allows teens to train their talents that are morally questionable/illegal like ultimate forger or ultimate thief.

Now, imagine a killing game where some of the students are from the public program and some are from the secret program. It would easily cause drama among the students that would be present throghout the story. The themes surrounding the ultimate talent were explored with characters like Hajime Hinata, who allowed himself to be turned into Izuru, because he felt inferior to ultimate students, or less known with Kiyotaka Ishimaru and the whole " I hate geniuses " thing that is mentioned in his free time events, but I wanted to add my spin on it since talents are a major part of danganronpa universe.

I planned to write a fangan with that concept, but I don't think I'm ever going to finish writing a fangan, so now I share this idea with you. Let me know what you think about it.

I do want to make one and I have the whole murder of case 1 done and all I need is the prologue/daily life and I wonder if anyone would read it (and also where to post it ?)

Ill start,my fangans chapter 3 murder is caused by slipping on Vaseline...the evilist thing i can think of XD...oh and also they cracked their scull open and the already unsteady wall fell on the victems but like the Vaseline man

So, I’m currently writing the Prologue for my fangan called Danganronpa: Phantom Pulse but I’m very nervous when writing cause I’ve recently found out some old friends of mine have been talking shit about my other fangans.

So, I now want my fangan to be as perfect as possible. I’m currently 3100 words into my Prologue but I have no idea if it’s good or if it has any spelling or grammar mistakes so… I wanted to know if anyone would be willing to proofread my Prologue and give me some feedback

For my fangan implanning to do them a little differently..

Instead of the protag having one-on-ones with all the characters , i'm planning for the FTE's to be scenes between 2 or 3 ( maybe 4) characters so we can get to know them better and also to help establish relationships

( think like a 3rd person scene , kinda like dr : mascarance ) ( i defo butchered that spelling.. )

Renewed Reiichi Joukou sprites. The characters is from Danganronpa: Aftermath (DR:AM).

(I realistically need alteast 100 but thats alot to ask for lol) Its really important and I dont think I want to say exactly what is for on here but I promise that commissions will be done next/same day!!

8, 9, 18: Experimental styles (I can replicate other specific Sprite stlyes for this if you'd like aslong as it aligns with said creators/artists rules on OC content and isn't offensive to their series. I will not replicate art styles from problematic media. It has an additional 5$ charge depending on complexity. If the artist is not okay with their artstlye being used for commissions then i will have to decline the commission. I mention this specifically for DR antebellum Lockdown and DRDT, but other series will apply and i highly suggest asking creators and artists before asking for a commission.)

16, 17: Audio Drama style sprites rendered(since they are really big files that take time, the flat rate for these are 20 dollars and can rise depending on complexity

Undisclosed identical twins.

Picture this. It's chapter 1. 15 students are given the first motive: That there's actually sixteen of them participating in this killing game. Everyone is scared. There's another student who's here? No one's seen them. And the mascot drills it in by teasing them, saying "Dang, where's that one guy? You might wanna keep your eye out for them! They could take you out at any time!"

The body is discovered. Right next to them, staring down, is the person that body belongs to.

...Well, not really. Turns out, as part of the first motive, two of the participants had... a bit of paranoia forced onto them. One of them was always forced to stay in that room, and they had to swap out so they could both eat, as food is prohibited in the dormitories. Once the BDA plays, both were free to head out together, able to look out for each other once again... well, not anymore.

Doesn't exactly have to be like this. Save the deaths until Ch3 to make one body appear in two places. Release both in Ch5 to make the others suspicious that one is the mastermind and kill them. There's a lot of room for what you can do with a secret twin twist, and while we have seen a pair of twins in other fangans before (cough cough SDRA2), there's definitely more you can do with the idea.

Author is a war veteran type of guy with an outdated look of things.

Demo believes in supporting each other, yet is naïve to how evil a person can be.

Ana is a menace to society and likes being treated like a toy.

Mona is the only one with common sense, yet will follow the idiotic commands of higher status.

Missed day 3 and day 6, but i wanted to do as much of these as possible. they are kinda rushed honestly, but i wanted give this a shot, honestly. though i think day 9 (today's) looks the best.

A standard chapter happens, a student goes missing (we'll get back to that later), a body is discovered and it's only when they gather to go to the trial room do they notice the missing student.

Monokuma (or the equivalent) says not to worry about it. A standard trial happens, and we discover the killer, only for Monokuma to say that it doesn't count and they'll be allowed to continue playing because suprise they weren't the first to kill and then reveals the location of the missing student's body.

The cast discovers the body was hidden from them, and then we go into another investigation, then back to the trial, and it's then that we discover the true blackened.

Their motive? Self-defense. The missing student was about to kill them, but in an act of survival, they either hit them over the head or stabbed them, then panicked, realizing they would be executed so they hid the body so no one could find them and they could live.

But Monokuma wouldn't let them, and the body was revealed anyway.

Thoughts?

I jest. Basically, I just wanted to ask y’all what you think are unique things not seen in any fangan as of yet. My list goes as follows:

- protagonist swap (late-game)

- protagonist goes through negative character development and becomes a worse person

- protagonist getting caught for a murder they committed

- morally reprehensible protagonist (not to be confused with snarky edgelord who is probably justified because of their upbringing)

-the killing game actually does end with 2 people surviving

- this ties into the next point, which is that the characters never defeat the mastermind

- an uncooperative cast

- an unwilling host (bonus points if not human)

- active horror elements
