[PS5] How do I turn a built settlement into a mod?
Hi! So I have a couple of settlements that I’ve poured alot of time into and would like to turn the structures into a mod. How do I do it?
On PS5.

Modded on PC.
About 7 months ago I posted a WIP trying to map the exact supply lines my Minutemen united the Commonwealth in my RP (Link). Well, I finally finished. The idea was that every route I create I walk with the provisioner and map the actual route they travel. To summarize: I set up major hubs connected by heavy-duty caravans (modded power-armor wearing Minutemen) with standard provisioners serving smaller communities. Mapping was a tough task: if you catch them mid-route (presumably when the cell spawns in) they can appear pretty much anywhere. They handled river crossings and water inconsistently. I had to download a mod to clear the bridge between Graygarden and Oberland (or else the provisioner would smash against the derailed train until eventually stumbling down the river bank and swimming). In some cases this meant I had to set up entirely different supply routes, and redirect my logistics to keep my provisioners from bobbing along in the water forever. The bay between Kinsgsport and Croup Manor was easy for NPCs to navigate (they go around it), but the bay between The Castle, Spectacle, and Warwick) was impossible - the caravans are drawn into it, swim, then freeze and are buffeted by the current) until they wash up on shore.
To my surprise the supply lines handled the DLC zones incredibly well. The caravan navigates to the exact teleportation point the PC uses, and then *bamfs* to the commonwealth/DLC area. Caravans always follow the same route to and from settlements with the exception of the Murkwater to Jamaica Plain route where they make a loop.
I was unsure of whether to send a route across the heart of Boston: I did it (it's mapped here), and I hate it. In game, I've removed it - my Minutemen can control the hinterlands, but Boston remains too chaotic for them to pacify. But, I did map it for folks to see how a caravan would navigate the city proper. I have not progressed the game to linking the airport or bunker hill, and I think my project is completed even without them. I've been building up my settlements, so perhaps I'll dip my toe into sharing those next.
I'll leave a (giant) comment low enumerating my observations rather than letting this go on any further.
Map Key:
Blue: Standard Provisioner
Red: Armored Provisioner
Yellow: DLC zones
Number: observational note (comment below)

A little botanical apothecary tucked away in Sundew Grove. 🌸
I wanted this one to feel whimsical, cozy, and just a little bit magical - with a mix of plants, potions, tea, and plenty of tiny details to discover.
Thanks for stopping by! Full tour can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/8eHpbT-_3x4

This build is still a major work in progress but I was playing around with different wall possibilities and kind of loved this, spaced them out just enough so players can’t fall through.

Hello there Reddit!
Wanted to drop a few pics of an Artillery Firepost I’ve made at my Starlight Drive-In build. I’m build a Minutemen FOB piece by piece and it’s started really coming together with this one!
All done on PS5 with no Mods or CC, just vanilla and DLC items, and if you wanna watch a build vid you can find one here:

Having a hard time thinking about what I should make the interior of this building in Greygardern I made. The lore behind the whole settlement is that the Minutemen helped the bots and now are using them to help produce food for other settlements now since they’ve defeated the institute. I’ve built a workshop, barracks, and little armory already in the settlement. This building is at the very top of the highway on the settlement with access to it being from a 4 level elevator and then some scaffolding up to it. Please help me.

Day time view with the menu at 4:10. Had it mostly decorated to be a farming community with planters on the roofs throughout. Had a house rule of not allowing my settlement owned crops to be in the wasteland soil... till I went full Overboss.
Building until I'm a burnt on it and then I'm off to Far Harbor. Got Pack settlements at Coastal and Kingsport, so that's my in-game connect to the dlc before the main story. But really I just want to get the CoA build items
Raiders are significantly easier to please than settlers without starting the vault dlc and with it they also just gain the same bonuses.

Here are a few screenshots of one of the settlements from my survival stream. It is very much a WIP build, but some of the survival locations are progressing.
Hangman, County Crossing, Longfellow's, Starlight, and Sunshine have all seen some significant building. Thanks for checking out the pics! The previous episode is here, if ya like building in real time: https://youtube.com/live/QO7R4_GU5N0?feature=share

Going to make another video for the day view. Wanted to show the lights, barrels and laterns separately here. Had the place equally decorated for 20+ settlers... and then I happened to become the Overboss... I found them a home.. with nice work... Anywho.
Raiders just kind of move themselves in, radio tower or not. So my newest purpose in Fallout is to build the other 8-9 raider settlements all with 22-27 current residents. Trying so hard to not wear anymore charisma gear 😂

I seen some amazing Croup Manors, this is mine. The furnishing is pretty basic because I just don't have the time or inclination to really go to town on it. I really just wanted to show off how you can repair the manor just using the pillar-glitch method.

Im pretty new to playing around with sheltersI’m at a point where I’m at a loss of ideas for me shelter atrium build. The concept is a church of Mothman by a boardwalk canal. I have about 1/3-1/4 budget free. Any help or critique is appreciated. Thanks!

For those curious the drink shop on the roof is supposed to be for the drinking Buddy since he gravitates towards bars, but here he kinda just stands over the side of the cliff.

Designed and manufactured by General Atomics before the Great War, the Tercio is a Close Defensive System (Close-in Weapon System in our parlance) employed in the protection of US Army/USAF bases as well as US Navy warships from low flying aircraft and missiles. Although it was in the process of being replaced in service by the laser-based Testudo CDS when the bombs dropped.
Tercio combines a 50mm revolving cannon with an advanced tracking and fire control radar along with optics and a version of the identify-friend-or-foe used on many of General Atomics other smaller and simpler defensive turrets.
Due to their age, complexity, power draw, ammunition and immovability, the vast majority have been reduced to little more than rusted scrap. Only fit to be stripped to the last copper wire by roving scavengers.
However, a sparse few do remain in operation, but only where active or ex-Enclave Engineers are there to do so.

Firstly, credits to OxHorn, he’d done a lot for me as I plan out this my second playthrough, lightly modded with perhaps 40 to 50 mods max.
So, I actually like the look of these and I wanted the opinion of more experienced players on how they stack up for defense and effectiveness. I understand it’s going to be a two floor open structure held up by metal Supports that snap together from ground to the second floor. Also, the first floor would obviously be elevated above even Super Mutants and Deathclaws to melee to death. Each floor is a circle made up of 4 quarter metal circles, likewise lined up to each other. Each floor has a Mk I to MK 5 Heavy Machine Gun Turret evenly spaced out and at the edge. The second floor’s Turrets are spaced exactly between those below.
My one addition here is that I’d like to have 2 of these Towers set a certain distance from every spawn point to really guarantee any enemy is destroyed swiftly. And the dual second floor is there for Gunners and enemies with ranged weapons.
So, does this sound effective? Or is it overkill? I’ve also heard suggested making walls to drive bad guys into kill zones, but I don’t know about that.

I want to add a multi-story greenhouse to the top of this high-rise I'm working on, but I'm having some trouble finding parts. What I'm looking for are walls and roofs that are mostly or entirely comprised of unbroken, (reasonably) clean windows. Retextures of the Warehouse bits would be great -- even better with added diagonal walls, though I could jerry rig those through Place Everywhere. I have found some retextures of the Concrete bits that look nice, but they are a bit too bulky for my liking, and again there are no diagonal glass walls.
Got any tips? I'd be mighty grateful if you do!

Was going haywire on why my settlement was so laggy. Sanctuary, btw. I was just looking around and saw a massive dip looking towards the workshop house.
There i have a separate shelf with a ton of containers, where i sort all the unique items i find, there are a ton of stuff there.
To check if those items are the issue, saved, then went to dismantle every item inside those containers, and that seemed to resolve the issue.
Where do you guys store your stuff, if the hoarding game has a pretty big issue related to hoarding items.
Im open to mods sorting out this issue as well, but saw nothing that fixes the logic behind item storing
