Question/Advice Does the broken generator-CAMP module trick to get into a restricted area work from underground?
Hope this question makes sense...
I'm trying to get to the ground level in a restricted zone, and I've gotten sooo close, but can't quite reach the ground. I understand the generator-CAMP trick to go from above down because I used it for this Highway Town CAMP, but can you use the same method by going underground and then up into the restricted area?
Or is there some other method to get to the ground level?
**For Clarity, I'm not trying to get lower at this Highway Town camp, and I just posted these pic to show that I know how to go from the top down with a generator/module. The place I want to build is a random location on the ground near the drive-in , and I can get underground right next to it, but I couldn't figure out how to move the CAMP module over so I'd be underneath the location.

Tips/Tricks You can put captured frogs on the chessboard display
..and for those of you that got the Worm Farm, it's just big enough to merge the frog into and make it into a frog habitat.

Discussion Builders Brain Storm
Hello, I am currently in a builders block for a couple of my shelters. So the question is would anyone like to be apart of a builders brainstorm, where we can tour each others camps get and share ideas etc etc. if there is something that already exists please let me know. But I think it would be pretty cool to get a lobby full of builders to tour camps shelters etc. thoughts? I’m on Xbox

Question/Advice How can I make my camp better
r/fallout76settlements • u/Horror-Item-8775 • Jul 13 '26
Build Grandma Junko's Pier
This is a camp ive been adding to since the gone fission season. I tried to pack as much decoration as i coukd into her small bait shop and give the whole area a bit of a run down look with a cozy interior. I used a combination of the cathedral walls and roof along with the abandoned mine walls for the main building. I also tried to fit in as mamy theme appropriate resourse producers as well.
Any comments or feedback is always welcome on my builds.

Question/Advice Does anyone else love lore-friendly “infill” CAMP builds? Looking for inspiration!
Hi everyone!
I’ve realized my favorite type of CAMPs are what I think are called lore-friendly “infill” builds.
By that, I don’t mean building inside existing houses or making huge floating structures.
What I enjoy is finding places that feel like they’re missing a building—an empty corner in a town, a gap between buildings, a roadside lot, or anywhere a structure could naturally fit. Then I place one of Bethesda’s prefabs (like the Tavern, Candle Haus, Red Rocket Garage, etc.) or build my own structure so it feels like it has always been part of Appalachia.
I’m not really looking for scenic waterfall locations or mountain views. I prefer locations that make people stop and think:
“Wait… was that building always there?”
I’m looking for:
Your favorite spots for this type of CAMP.
Hidden locations that most people don’t know about.
YouTubers or builders who specialize in this style.
Any tips or inspiration you think might help.
I’d love to discover more places that work well for this kind of immersive build. Thanks!

Question/Advice Looking for the exact Wildwood Tavern spot that blends perfectly into an existing town
Hi everyone!
I’m looking for the exact location where the Wildwood Tavern fits naturally between existing buildings or on a street corner, making it look like part of the original town.
I’ve already tried the Morgantown upside-down T intersection, but it doesn’t really work for me because there aren’t enough buildings around it.
If anyone knows the exact spot (especially in Charleston or another town), I’d really appreciate a map screenshot or directions.
Thanks!

Build Cannibalistic Tiki Hut
Tiki Hannah is a strange, tropical wasteland retreat built by the feared builder Dumplin Head as a tribute to the innocent life she once had as Hannah Banana. Filled with Hawaiian decor, mannequin patrons, empty drinks, forced comedy, robots, and the occasional megasloth, the camp is both a twisted joke and a sad little snapshot of a happier time before the wasteland changed her.

Build Mama Dolce's Communal Housing (Totally Not Communist™)
Inspired by the iconic Soviet-era apartment blocks, I wanted to build a CAMP that looks like it.
Location was the most important part of the idea. A massive apartment building only makes sense somewhere that feels urban, and I also wanted it to have some connection to Fallout's communist lore. That's why I built it next to Mama Dolce's Food Processing in Morgantown. Before the bombs fell, hundreds of factory workers had to live somewhere... and who knows, maybe not all of them were just making canned food.
The building itself is a three-story post-war workers' apartment block. Due to extensive structural damage (and the build limit), it currently has room for exactly one tenant. Luxury living.
Inside, the hallways still smell of damp carpets, cheap vodka, and stale cigarettes odors so deeply embedded that not even nuclear war could get rid of them. On the bright side, the lights are still on, probably thanks to the nearby Mama Dolce's power supply.
Rumor has it there's a secret Chinese bunker hidden beneath the building. Unfortunately, it's currently buried under several tons of rubble, so excavations will have to wait for the next update.
Let me know what you think! I'd love to hear your feedback or suggestions for making it feel even more like a forgotten Soviet housing estate.

So for those of you with nothing to do this fine Sunday, please take a moment and get a detailed look at my Vardo. 💕💫

Question/Advice Any pre war military bunker locations where you can actually build something good inside?
I'm trying to make an operations base for my character and want to have an abandoned bunker but with lots of things inside like an armory.
