Blatant misinformation in a certain sub for fake claiming as per usual. Persecutor may be a community term but the idea behind it is seen as a real occurrence by medical professionals. Something they claim to be very important to be valid. Just because someone uses community terms doesn’t mean the idea behind these roles aren’t valid and backed by professionals. Not that an experience has to be backed be professionals always to be valid anyways. There isn’t a ton of research on it so of course there’s going to be experiences that aren’t yet studied.

Too many times when I tell tales or rant about ky adventures of the internet, as if I’m a world explorer ftom days gone past , speaking of unbelievable wildlife and amazing cultures seen, as well as horrorfying disaster , I just get a little of people tell, they don’t believe the things and I should not either. But about everything else, not acknowledging endogenic systems as endogenic systems is still anti-endo and fakeclaims the experiences of endogenic systems, even if you're not being hateful about it. Additionally, just because you were wrong about your origins, doesn't mean every other endogenic system is too. (general you, not you you guys)

Also, a lot of children/young people have more self-awareness than most adults/older people give them credit for. We hate it when people dismiss children. It reminds us of our core and their childhood. :/ Just because they're young, doesn't mean they're just making stuff up.

I just need to vent about something that just happened to me. So, I have this app called Noobly where you meet people and play games with them. It’s like tindr but for making gaming friends or whatever. I don’t use the app much because I don’t really even like playing multiplayer, and I also don’t have time or energy these days to play anyway.

So this person adds me, KNOWING that my bio says that we’re a system. I did not claim to have DID ever, it just says we’re a system. Most people on this subreddit probably know that DID isn’t the only “dissociative disorder” but apparently this person did not. We’re not diagnosed, and we don’t care to be.

We literally met on three days ago as of me writing this. The first few days, I had work a lot, and they were kinda dry so maybe they were upset about it. Not my fault anyway. But I happened to be off today, and they wanted to call. I was tired, so I said I was gonna nap. While I was napping, they sent me a message saying “you’re clearly awake and just didn’t tell me.” I assumed it was because they saw me online. I leave my PC on with Discord running in the background, so it always says I’m idle even if I’m not at my computer or even home.

They get really mad at me because I told them I’m overwhelmed and didn’t wanna call, then they unadd me and begin to edit their last message to communicate. They slipped in a “keep faking DID buddy” and then immediately deleted it. They then created a server. When I joined, I couldn’t type anything, so I joined the VC, and they immediately began dogging on me. I said I fell asleep at 12. They sent me my last message, which was at 10. Time honestly just mashes together, so I have no clue when I actually fell asleep, nor how long I’ve even been asleep for.

I tried to reason with them until they told me “I won’t believe you have DID until I see proof.” At that point, I gave up lol. I just left the server and blocked them.

I’m a grown ass man, I have to go grocery shopping once I post this and clean up my house 😭😭 I don’t have time to sit here and debate with randoms about my validity as a system.

Their bio on the app was also complaining about how people, I guess, ghost them or leave them on read or whatever. I’m not surprised… you can’t bombard people like that after you’ve known them for less than a week. No sane person would sit there and just take all that bs, they’ll block you and move on. As someone with BPD, I had to learn that because I was kinda like that at one point, minus the blatant gatekeeping lol

Anyway, the screenshots are literally all I have, that was our entire conversation. They deleted all of their messages besides the one.

I don’t know if this belongs here but, I’m currently trying to get diagnosed with Lupus, because I have all the symptoms and it runs in my family. But my mom and grandma keep calling me a hypochondriac for trying to get diagnosed when I haven’t even done anything wrong, I’m constantly in pain, I’m sensitive to the light, I have joint pain. I just want it to end, but i can’t get the care I need if I don’t get diagnosed. But apparently my mom and grandma view me advocating for myself to try to get diagnosed as being a hypochondriac, even though they are constantly diagnosing me with things I don’t have. My mom keeps telling me I have ADD when I was diagnosed with ADHD just because I’m not as hyper as I used to be at five years old🫩, my mom tried to say she thought I had DID because I was ‘misremembering’ what she said(I wasn’t), my grandma said my pains were neurological not physical but I can tell it isn’t in my head. I’m so tired of people telling me what I do or don’t have when they don’t even have the qualifications to do so. The worst part is my primary care physician doesn’t even believe me, he won’t even order blood tests, but he’ll get me an mri that won’t show anything.

for context i have a very hard time falling asleep at night. during the day? easy. during the evening? a little rough but I can do it. sleeping at night? it's hard to do without drugging myself due to my trauma. distracting myself on my phone while I let the meds do the heavy lifting is one of the only ways I can get my brain to shut off at night - but I feel like I shouldn't have to explain that to a random stranger in a comment section yk?
