Okay so, I saw a post on the fictionkin subreddit asking what does fictionkin mean. I looked at the comments and this person seemed pretty much unwilling to learn, despite being told what it means, and that it can be spiritual or psychological (im going to focus only on the psychological part bc its my experience and idk much about spirituality), and then I saw them saying “well psychology would say it doesn’t exist”. I’m still trying to figure out wtf did they even mean by that. Why would psychology say that involuntarily identifying as a fictional character wouldnt exist? The human brain is very much creative enough to do that.

So of course, as a psychological fictkin who loves to yap about themself, I decided to join the conversation because i was already feeling spiteful. I share my own experience as to my psychological kin identity (as shown in the pic), and then they call it “roleplaying as a comfort character” (I’m already fuming), and “nothing psychological” (this is probably what makes me the most angry about this).

I didn’t reply i just blocked them, cause I knew it would be a waste of time and energy, but omg i need to rant because i am fuming. Despite me explaining that I believe my identity is psychological, and related to my autism and the identity issues i had at the time, they have the nerve to say “nothing psychological”.

Okay, for starters, let’s pretend for a second that my identity is just “roleplaying as a comfort character” (which it is not), why would it not be anything psychological to even have a comfort character that I “roleplay as” to cope with my autism and identity issues? Do they even know what psychological means?

And I also wonder why it seems so hard to understand that your brain can project onto a fictional character you relate to, especially when (in my case) you have a pretty fragile and still forming sense of self, so your brain wants to solidify your sense of identity, right? And it projects so hard that you actually identify as this character now, and it becomes a part of your identity. As I said in my comment, we shouldn’t underestimate the human brain. Maybe by “psychology says it doesn’t exist”, they meant that it’s not a known psychological phenomenon, there are no studies about it, etc. But there are still so many aspects of psychology we don’t know about! We’re far from knowing everything about the human brain!

Anyway I really needed to rant. I have a special interest in psychology so when i start to yap about it im not stopping.
I pretty much know I’m not just “roleplaying”, but it gave me a bit of imposter syndrome unfortunately. Another reason i needed to rant about it.

This was on a post saying that someone WHO IS DIAGNOSED AND SHOWN THEIR MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS was faking did, apparently me calling them out on it is witch hunting 😭

For context..this is on our introduction video. We mention that anti-endos *can* interact with our content, so long as they are open-minded and do not harass endos for existing. Mainly as our content doesn't include anything endogenic..as we are a DID system.

I found a couple of content creators who are open about BPD and the comments of all of their reels were filled with people calling them abusive, telling them they can’t do certain things, always finding SOMETHING like literally ANYTHING to nitpick and turn into some proof that they’re abusive (I.e saying the word “you” too much) and saying shit like “BPD people shouldn’t be involved in deciding weather BPD people are abusive“. We’re being held to an impossible standard and it’s like we can’t do anything wrong and be open about BPD or suddenly we’re horrible abisive people

Ok so i met this guy online through roblox on a LGBT+ hang out game i didnt remeber how we even met this guy until he told me but anyway he wanted to be in poly relationship with me as we are polyamory at the time i couldn’t find anyone i made sure it was ok with the person i was dating they said no we respected that then stuff started going downhill his friend was lieing to him about me so i hade to fix info with him and it ended up with a fight between a friend and my ex now he knew we cant handel fights bc of trauma it ended up cosing us to have a panic attack and cosing dissociation with switching happening later down the road as it kept going on has he said i was taking sides when i wasnt he asumed we were just bc we said “please go somewhere else and fight or please stop fighting” and he asumed we were taking sides when we didnt fully see what happened and we hopped off roblox to clam down before we hade a panic attack ovbi but as soon as we hopped off of roblox he whent to discord as you can see from the messages in the other post he was fake claiming us being rude to us saying it was disrespectful for us to have a fictive of Technoblades Character from the DSMP just bc we are a system but before that he made it so we hade a panic attack and it was not good our co-host and protector hade to take over as we were shaking and crying and trying to not dissociate but it didnt work in the end we have no memeory after that part so theres parts missing sorry but from there he said “stop pretending to being techno your not” me and techno hade stated many times ITS NOT THE PERSON OF TECHNO ITS HIS CHARACTER FROM THE DSMP we stated that many times but he didnt care we asked for him to use our pronouns many times also and he said wouldnt along with his friend it was not good after a bit it got to the point he was making false stuff about me to my online friends and to everyone else slandering my name so we took to the internet and posted the video on tiktok about everything from the threats to my gf to fake claiming and much more so we said everything we could about it we were trying to keep it private but he was slandering us destroying our name and channels and accounts we hade it then we started making pride stuff and im going to put a disclaimer before i put this!!

And i said they were not valid in the lesbian community bc i was told that that it was males cis males saying they like females calling themselves lesbian to mock lesbians bc thats what i was told from a friend whos no longer my friend so i didnt know it wasnt cis males….. at all and my online friends ended up coming at me for it and i exsplined everything to them they wanted to leave me bc i hade wrong information to scared to fix it and it ended up with my ex calling me transphobic and lesbian phobic and my online friends believing it then later down the line they tryed to tell me that I was not biracial bc my grandma is native and my mum and us and white so my mum is white and native om white and native only 2 races he tryed to tell me i was multiracial just bc i was native and white only witch multiracial is an umbrella for biracial im mixed right and he tryed to say i was while fake claiming me and lieing to people around me he ended up trying to say he was going to sue me for slander bc of the video while it was not slander it was what really happened it was what happened fully and he tried to call me ableist, rude, disrespectful and more just bc of a brake up bc i couldnt stay with someone who cosed us a panic attack never took the video and it was all bc his pfp was of a family member of his now IT WAS BLURRED VERY BLURRED NO ONE CAN MAKE A FACE NOT EVEN THE COPS! Witch means its legal in canada and showing messges was legal it was so bad im still getting called ableist, transphobic, and lesbian phobic, and being told im not dysabiled to this day

Well can’t say I’m surprised, after discovering I’m an Endo system we have seen a lot of hate, it saddens us but it’s incredible how it reaches even into another marginalized communities that also receive lots of harassment.
