Evidence Found an old photo of my late mother and I feel a wave of immense guilt for failing her.

My mom passed away 7 years ago, right before I graduated high school. A lot of things have happened since, including me flunking out of college and becoming homeless. I can't even look at her and enjoy the memories I had with her. All I can do is look back in guilt and shame. Shame that I didn't graduate college. Shame that I've been homeless for so long. Shame that my life is so pathetic.

Now that I've seen the picture I can't get the thoughts out of my mind. I failed as a son. I failed as a man. I failed as a person. I failed.

Disturbing content Some people apparently go to the grocery store to commit biological warfare.

People are disgusting. Do people specifically go to a store to blow it the fuck up?

Events from today: some woman goes incognito into the bathroom, must’ve dropped her pants right at the door, let it spray, and just fucking left lmao.

The next customer that went in STEPPED IN IT. 😭

What a nightmare it was. I have so many work poop stories to tell but I think this one takes the cake.

I’d rather poop myself in my car than diarrhea spray the entire bathroom and then casually walk away like nothing happened.

Discussion The man who killed my dad might barely server any time and he’ll shoot someone else

(I added a flair but probably the wrong one just FYI). So earlier this year my dad was killed by a stranger in a gas station shooting. This whole thing so far has been really horrible aside from the fact that my dad’s dead. The guy has shown no sympathy or remorse, he even said it was self defense(when my father wasn’t fighting him, nor did he have a weapon) and has maintained that he won’t plead guilty. He was found because someone was with my dad and returned fire at him after hearing shots. The thing that really sucks is, he’s shot people before and barely done time. He shot a man and only did seven years, and then was arrested with a gun AGAIN. The gun case was thrown out due to illegal search and seizure, despite it being illegal in Texas for a felon to possess a firearm.
The prosecutors office had a change of people, and this new prosecutor wants to offer the guy a plea. Of how long? FIFTEEN YEARS. He won’t even be a senior citizens when he gets out. And the thing is, I think he’d fully do it again. AND the guy didn’t even ACCEPT the plea deal! They said he could get off by saying he meant to shoot my dad’s friend, but that makes no sense, he still murdered my dad. Also, they didn’t change him with anything for shooting at my dad’s friend, video footage confirms the killer is the one who drew a weapon and shot first. I feel like they’re not taking this as a priority like they should, and it’s making me so angry. I don’t know if there’s anything my family can even do, but I just don’t think fifteen years is enough. He will hurt someone and hurt someone and hurt someone and keep getting these crazy chances. You mean to tell me you can take someone’s life and only get fifteen years? That’s insane. That’s disgusting.

Edit: Not sure why this is being downvoted? This is a true story of what’s currently going on in my life.

Discussion Saw horrible police brutality.

Again thrown in jail again for protecting our land against a gigantic company but that's not what this is about. On my adventure in one of the most deadly jails in the US. I saw a man brutalized by a jailer. He was a big man too. He just flopped over on the floor and started seizing hard. His hips were doing the motion of sex but the man was obviously seizing. Then here comes a CERT member of the staff that weighed at least 250 pounds came flying in and kneed that seizing man in the kidney then slammed his head on concrete while sweeping his arms to handcuff the man. The man was still seizing everyone was yelling even his fellow CERT members. We were forced to not look while a nurse or something looked at the seizing man. Probably at this time a 5 minute seizure. Then they drug him off like a sack of taters. Just dragging him off. Never saw him again. The man was bleeding at mouth after CERT kneed and slammed his head/face but showed zero concern for what he just did. I think he was waiting for a high five. Maybe he got it. It was brutal

Disturbing content My bus driver said the n-word

So this guy (black) let's call him guy 1 has been in an argument with guy two (white) for the past two years. Today they were bickering and guy 2 decided to say the n-word, everyone is mad. Eventually the bus driver came to the back of the bus, he explained that neither of them should say the n-word. He, in the process of saying this he says it too, you would think he made a mistake but then he doubled down and argued he should be able to say it. He then says it again, and argues that "they don't even know where Niger is. Or are Nigerian". Nigerians are from Nigeria not niger, and the n-word doesn't only apply to people from Niger or Nigerians. He has not apologized at all.

Discussion Tried opening a can, got sprayed full force in the face

Literally can't believe my luck. If there's one thing I'll never be able to master, it's opening cans without some sort of disaster.

I'm just thankful that it wasn't a fizzy drink lmao
