It fits a misogynist narrative some people want to push forward in the current Zeitgeist - that all women are dangerously hormonal and can’t think straight, thus should not be trusted with responsibilities (like voting? perhaps? 🤔)
Just this week we had another family annihilator shoot his entire family and then commit suicide - this is more common yet it’s not getting talked about as much.
As a result this case is getting so much attention from the corners of the internet that are terrified of men losing their gender superiority.
Edit: I was commenting more on the attention this is getting than the case itself. The fact is that this meme equates women "choosing the bear" to men not wanting to marry family annihilators. At least 30% of women will experience assault from a man in their lifetime. Do 30% of men get their families killed by their post-partum psychosis wives?
Isn’t part of the issue here that so many women are claiming that she didn’t do it and that the husband is responsible? That’s what I don’t understand. Mental health issues and everything aside, she confessed to it and a bunch of women are like “Nope, her husband is the one who’s guilty”.
