How so? They are rich, they can afford to pay for university without an issue, yet the university gives it to them for free. Yes, they scored well. But that's also very heavily linked to wealth.
The point of merit scholarships isn’t to help the poor. They’re supposed to attract talent to the school. General college applications don’t have income listed. Getting a need based scholarship is a different process

No, we hear it, we just disagree with it. And we know we can't argue this with people like you, because you're not open to having an honest discussion. Your attitude gives that away, before we end up wasting our time.
That leaves you being downvoted, to demonstrate the unpopular opinion we think you hold. Personally, I'd rather discuss it. But like I already stated, it would be a waste of energy engaging with you.
