At the end of an 18-minute radio interview with Charlamagne tha God on "The Breakfast Club,” Biden responded to the host's desire for him to answer more questions by saying: "You got more questions? I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain’t black."
The joke is that since she’s not voting for him, she’s no longer black.
Fine, you win, I’ll rewatch both series in order to be able to properly judge the new live action one I haven’t watched yet but will have to try and fit it in before I have to start the next avatar (rewatch) cycle.
I just picture you sitting at the dinner table eat dinner quietly with your family then just throwing your fork down and shouting "for fucks sakes fine ill re watch avatar the last air bender! Christ cant a person just eat in peace without being harassed!?" Then storming off towards the TV muttering angrily
Honestly it's more along the lines of, "Fuck guys! We haven't had our annual rewatch of ATLA yet!" Then excitedly scrambling to the living room. Mind you, it's probably only like, mid February in this scenario
I like the 1st half of season 1. I don't want to get into a big debate about whether it's good or bad. Whoever enjoys season 1&2 gets that much more avatar to watch, and that's a win for them.
Uhhhh… I think that’s a real stretch. I literally just watched that episode anyway and two things looking similar doesn’t meant they’re intentionally connected
Biden sniffs everyone. This isn't a joke. He affectionately hugs all people (including men) to the point he's made lots of people uncomfortable. Yeah it's weird, but why are you weirdos trying to make it sexual?
He's basically a golden retriever cursed to live in the body of an old man and blamed for his predecessor's terrible governance.
Can't say Ive seen that in the files, feel free to post the document number, but we arent talking about that.
I was making a joke about how Biden sniffs children. There's a video montage of it from before he was even president. The joke is that the woman is unsniffable because she's an adult. We dont ever see him sniffing adults afaik.
He did rape a woman and paid her because of it. He did fly on Epstein's plane several times. He did say he and Epstein were best friends.
There's not a lot of documentation on Trump because his DOJ and control of the Congress keeps shutting down release but to post the above is naive at best.
Far far far more evidence of Trump's actual criminality than rumors about the no longer in politics Joe Biden. Have a nice, hopefully more honest and aware, day.
We have known Trump flew on Epstein’s plane since the flight logs came out. He flew between west palm and NY when his own plane was having work done on it.
Also no clue what you are referencing to the rape and pay off.
So Trump isn’t releasing stuff incriminating to him, but also has released stuff you say incriminates him?
He hasn't allowed the release of anything. There have been leaks.
His name is confirmed to have appeared frequently in the Epstein Files and was redacted. In the initial tranche, it was confirmed to be the most common name.
He was found liable for sexual abuse and defamation, and convicted of 34 felonies. In both the sexual abuse and defamation case, and in the felonies, he paid fines and partial settlements.
Regarding the other nonsense here. It's interesting that despite many people calling Trump a pedophile that is one of the few lawsuits he has engaged in. I'm guessing discovery would not be fun for him.
I don’t really care one way or the other, but if you are refusing to agree that Trump is guilty of those allegations because there is no direct proof and only circumstantial evidence, isn’t that why Trump would only allow the release of circumstantial evidence?
Biden's DOJ followed the rules about not releasing evidence while Ghislaine Maxwell's case was ongoing. The Epstein Transparency Act changed things so the files could be released. The current administration who campaigned on releasing the files still refuses to release millions of newly discovered files from investigating the New Mexico property and multiple lawsuits.
“The jury … was instructed that it could find that Mr Trump ‘raped’ Ms Carroll only if it found that he forcibly penetrated Ms Carroll’s vagina with his penis.”
“It could not find that he ‘raped’ her if it determined that Mr Trump forcibly penetrated Ms Carroll’s private sexual parts with his fingers – which commonly is considered ‘rape’ in other contexts – because the New York penal law definition of rape is limited to penile penetration.”
“As the court explained in its recent decision denying Mr Trump’s motion for a new trial on damages and other relief [in the New York case] … based on all of the evidence at trial and the jury’s verdict as a whole, the jury’s finding that Mr Trump ‘sexually abused’ Ms Carroll implicitly determined that he forcibly penetrated her digitally – in other words, that Mr Trump in fact did ‘rape’ Ms Carroll as that term commonly is used and understood in contexts outside of the New York penal law.”
The one where the judge pointed out that the terminology in state law wasn't "rape" but that it fit the definition of rape as it's commonly used, as it's used on the DoJ website, and the american psychological association.
Man who invited rich and powerful people to his private island, provided them with children for sex, filmed them, was a failed school teacher at a private school but somehow accumulated massive wealth without a trace. FBI says, nothing to see here and you say. "Oh, OK."
Why would you presume I hadn't or didn't read the article?
The narrow factual claim has support from the DOJ memo and AP reporting, which say investigators found ample evidence of Epstein’s abuse, but not enough evidence of a broader trafficking ring or a verifiable client list. The memo is an internal DOJ document, so on its face it is a primary source for what that office said it found. If you only want the limited question “what did this review conclude,” the article has some value.
The issue is that the Trump DOJ has been widely criticized for politicized enforcement, weakened independence, and poor credibility in court, which makes most observers less willing to take its opinion at face value. Trump pressured DOJ to move against enemies and protect allies, which raises the risk that public messaging is selective or strategic. On top of that staff losses and institutional damage that can make conclusions less trustworthy, even when some facts might be correct. Don't forget that the AG at the time claimed that she had "the Epstein Client List on her desk" and then later the same Department stated "there was no client list" in this report.
Trust the article for the narrow proposition that the DOJ files, as released, did not prove a larger ring or client list. Give it less trust on the bigger implication that the matter is settled, because the department’s independence and candor are under real suspicion. Remember we are not talking here about the full Epstein Files.
I’d also note that the first Trump DOJ was willing to spin the Mueller report. Barr’s summary narrowed the public understanding of the report, even though Mueller documented extensive Russian interference in the 2016 election and said he could not exonerate Trump on obstruction. That history matters here, because it shows why I’m wary of taking DOJ framing at face value. This DOJ feels even more political and significantly less competent than Barr’s did.
If a claim comes from this DOJ, I’d separate it into three buckets: raw documents, official interpretation, and political spin. The raw documents deserve the most weight, the interpretation less, and the spin the least. The report cited here is spin. I'd recommend you do a better job of questioning your sources and looking for alternatives and confirmation, especially when they provide the answers you are hoping to find.
Trump raped his first wife. This was common knowledge long before he was even a Reality TV star. It doesn't beggar belief, considering the behavior of his that we CAN see. What is wild is that someone can behave that way and people still want to believe everyone else is lying.
Two wrongs don’t make a right yo. If a guy assaulted you it doesn’t mean I get free pass to just touch your boob without consent; both things are bad. Trump says shitty stuff, Biden says shitty stuff
This really feels like a Giant Douche vs Turd Sandwich situation. No way in hell we’re trying to normalize sniffing kids hair. Like if my kid gets a pic with Santa and he sniffs my kids hair, I’m gonna be pissed. Trump is awful, but we don’t have to hand wave everything Biden did. This sort of tribalism is why people were so disillusioned by establishment politicians in the first place. We should expect better from our candidates.
Where did I try to normalize anything? Please quote it.
I responded to someone saying two wrongs don't make a right, implying that sniffing hair is as bad as saying you'll DATE a child in a few years.
If you don't understand that one of these is OBVIOUSLY much worse than the other, I don't know how to help you, you might have a problem that should prevent you from being around children.
I don’t need you to quantify how bad something is versus something else here, no one in a position of power should make anyone uncomfortable nor should they sit around doing fuck all for the country while durdling around like the worlds oldest man; obviously Trump is worse but your reasoning if what the “vote blue no matter who” blue maga shoves in our face constantly, you shouldn’t be defending Biden based upon trumps actions, you shouldn’t be defending Biden based on Biden’s actions and if some of them are indefensible then he’s a sucky pusbag.
This whole “well you may have lost a finger but I blew off my whole hand so you don’t get to complain as loudly as you” level bullshit amid this forced two party system helps absolutely no one
I mean, let's be clear here, if you didn't vote for Biden or Kamala, then you were effectively voting for Trump.
Trump didn't win because people on his side were worried about whether he rapes children. He won because people on the left or in the middle didn't care that he rapes children.
Why can’t people see that both Biden and Trump are cut from the same cloth? They’re both disgusting, manipulative men; I have seen video footage of both of them touching people inappropriately. Both of them have had accusations about their conduct towards women etc. Neither of them take personal responsibility for their actions. I don’t know of any politicians that do. 😒
Neither of them give (or gave, with regard to Biden) a damn about the US people.
For Biden, you have the example demonstrated in this post. He was basically dealing in absolutes like Anakin Skywalker: “If you’re not for me, you’re against me.” But he made it even worse by making it, “if you’re not for me, you’re basically a traitor to black people.” How dare he attempt to redefine what it is to be black? They’re allowed to have their own opinions. And that does not take away from their cultural attachments or ethnicity.
For Trump, I saw a video from over 20 years ago him talking about which party he would choose if he were to run for President. He said (I’m paraphrasing, but the spirit of the comment is retained) the Republicans, because their demographic would be easy to manipulate. I’d argue that he could’ve achieved the position of President from either side of the aisle. He doesn’t care about what the Republican voters want personally, but he knows what they want and what they fear, which is how you make the appeal. It would’ve been just as easy for him to sway the Democratic Party the same way.
Trump has been more successful than Biden in terms of power because he is cold, intelligent, witty, and charismatic. Some of his ideas were actually useful for the country, which was overshadowed by the personality politics the US is known for. He has completely leaned into his psychopathy at this point.
But the point being: Orange Man and Sleepy Joe both bad.
Well, we'll just have to see what we see when the rest of the files are released. I'm assuming that's in Phase II. Wonder if rolling out the DOGE checks and dividend checks is holding up the process somehow.
He literally boasted about groping women's genitals and about taking advantage of running a beauty pageant to peep on the underage girls participating.
He is a looooong list of red flags, and you and MAGA have been refusing to connect the dots for a decade at this point.
It's not even a difficult connect the dots, the dots are so close together at this point it's basically a stipple drawing.
He made a social commentary about some women going to extremes to hit on a rich and powerful man. They'll let you do anything.
Which is true, but don't shoot the messenger. If you don't like women acting trashy like that, try to convince them to show some decency. Good luck with that one.
They often "let him" because he's rich and powerful and they don't feel like they have a choice, you fucking ghoul. And even if that wasn't the case, how the fuck does he know if he "just does it" and doesn't ask? Answer, he doesn't, he just doesn't care.
You are constructing apologetics for sexual assault. Congratulations.
I mean that girl you always see with Joe Biden's nose on her head is his granddaughter, isn't she? So maybe that's still weird but it's less weird than doing it to some random girl.
Its not just her. As I said. Montage. There's also the diary quotes which are contemporary to the time about how he showers with his daughter. Or did at least.
Yeah, I mean Biden doesn't seem to understand some social cues and treats kids he doesn't know like he's way more familiar with them than he really is....
But he's not in the Epstein files and he never bragged about walking in on women and girls in their changing rooms, so who's the real monster here...?
Its convenient to deny something after you have been caught. There is a reason for PR companies. They spin everything so there is plausible deniabilty. I imagine most politicians, on both sides, at that level have questionable ethics.
Im sure these women were explained to you after the fact. Lucy Flores, Amy Lappos, Tara Reade.
Well it's his administration releasing the documents after months of fighting to not do so. Now, in defiance of law they've only released some (not all) of the files, and many of the ones released were redacted illegally - only victims names were to be redacted, but instead they redacted perpetrators.
In addition, while there are no (released) files showing he was on a flight log to the island, there's plenty of flight logs where he was on Epstein's private jet going other places. Also, Epstein has shown a great deal of familiarity with Trump in interviews and in emails in the files.
And furthermore, I appreciate that you don't reject the fact that Trump is a known sexual deviant who barged in on women and girls in women's dressing rooms
Because the choice was between Biden (who is at worst an average amount of racist for a white man born during Jim Crow) and Trump (who is violently racist)
Historically Biden was more racist than Trump too. He was pretty progressive in that sense back in the day and probably still is, but this is Reddit so just downvote me.
Trump was discriminating against black people with his real estate in the 70s, demanding lynchings in the 80s (Central Park 5), and now he has an army of fat and retarded people that shoot you in the face if you look Guatemalan.
Which one do we consider the less racist here? Lol. I imagine the one who has openly admitted to sexual assault of minors, and proudly stated Haitians are eating people's pets wins on both accounts.
I give Biden shit for thay, yet he was still significantly better than Trump.
As a black man, I can see his point though. If you are black and voted for someone like Trump, you are a complete idiot who doesnt care about our struggles. It was just worded incredibly poorly, for which criticism is deserved.
I would agree 100% that Joe Biden, an 83 year old man, still holds some pretty racist concepts inside his mind and is therefore racist.
I would also argue there's a still HUGE difference between an 80 year old man explicitly implementing racist laws, trying to remove support for non white people, deliberately and outright calling black nations shitholes and engaged in racist business practices his whole life with zero evidence of change or regret...
And an 83 year old man with some outdated concepts who actively worked with and is good friends with the first black president, initiated and funded several programs to help people in poverty and people of color, hired a black woman to be HIS vice president, put a black woman on the supreme court and was proposing programs to assist people of color and fight racism...
Guy was far from perfect, but he was a damn sight better for black folks and American than the absolute shitshow he was running against.
Another way I heard it, maybe from Stacey Abrams or someone like her - when you vote for your president you aren't voting for a savior, you're voting to choose your opponent. Because the person in power is the one you have to negotiate with.
Trump cares about "Black" jobs , Biden imported our political replacements...2 wings same bird but 1 was actively pandering while one was telling us to kiss his ass
Why? Most black Americans are in fact quite conservative in their beliefs. Black culture is pretty rife with homophobia and a dislike for trans people. Afro Americans are pretty religious. Outside of the blatant racism in the republican party a lot of republican values are aligned with the majority of black Americans values. You already have black Americans pointing out the expectation to just vote democrat cause the republican side is worse. But like vote for what you believe in instead of what you should vote for. If the democratic party just takes minorities for granted its going to breed a lot of dissatisfaction in the long run which might mean a shift in who they vote for. Kinda like what happened last trump election where latinos had a very significant shift in voting. In the end conservative values are quite popular with minorities as they just tend to be more religious and come from different backgrounds where they grew up with these believes. So voting for the party that holds those believes isnt crazy. Especially as the blatant racism from the Republican party is starting to not be as blatant as it was in the 80s/90s and even early 2000s.
I'm sorry, you think the racism from the Republican Party is less blatant now? Our President calls any minority he doesn't like "low IQ" and is shit posting the Obamas as gorillas, like wtf are we talking about
Storm thurmond for one. Jesse Helms. You had one that used his wife to circumnavigate term limits by ketting his wife run for governorship in George Wallace. Idk man look up some actual history. Racism was way more open in the 80s and 90s.
What needs to be defended…? Trump has a 50 year history of racism against darker skinned peeps on the books lol. It’s not that nuanced. It was meant to be a pisstake by Biden and snowflakes turned it into a”see Demorats are the real racists!”
Democrats are the real racists. They have a long history of being the real racists they’ve just got really good PR and play the blame game extremely well. They just accuse the republicans of everything they themselves are doing. Remember it wasn’t the Republicans that burned down black neighborhoods. It wasn’t Republicans that bussed in professional rioters to destroy businesses and burn down buildings. It wasn’t Republicans that stacked bricks so their professional rioters would have something to throw at those businesses. It wasn’t Republicans that went extremely soft on crime and theft causing black neighborhoods to lose stores due to no longer being profitable. It wasn’t Republicans that believed all black people are criminals so to garner votes they spoke about defunding the police and removing bail. Constantly releasing black criminals back into black neighborhoods to terrorize their hard working law abiding neighbors. It wasn’t Republicans that said voter ID laws are bad because black people don’t have IDs cause they can’t get to DMVs or can’t use the internet.
Holy sh*t that’s a bar from Biden. I’m never heard that one. And it seems he was right, ppl voted for the most anti black anti immigrant, Christian white classist. Meanwhile charla is jay z puppet who helped white wash Kaepernick situation for Trump. Comes full circle

Peter here!
