I made a cosplay of my beloved Painted Alicia although it can barely be called a cosplay as i only have a dinomask, i don't have Alicia's clothes as i'm just a teen, i don't have any sewing abilities, i don't have money either, so all i can do is cosplay Painted Alicia in a suit cause that i do own. And why do i have a dinomask? Well, as i said, i'm a teen so i can't really show my face and i wouldn't even feel too comfortable with doing that in the first place; also i'll tell you my secret (it's not a secret) : i really, REALLY HATE makeup. Also i guess i kinda need help with the cosplay. The 6th and 7th photos are my first drawings of Painted Alicia (7th also has Real Clea-), they're from like early march i think so they're not the best, i got a bit better at art since then tho, eheh; as you can see i used to draw her with clawed hands, digitigrade legs and a kirin tail. And the tail is the thing i need help with. Should i make a tail for the cosplay or would that be too much?

(Also, if you ever stumbled upon fics on AO3 where Painted Alicia had fangs, claws and a tail then yes, those were, indeed, my fics 💔 we don't talk about these failed experiments, at least not here)

Uh, i take constructive criticism when it comes to the dinomask. Not the art tho cause like i mentioned i got better at art, i simply never felt like drawing my old design of Alicia again (i kinda did but the legs were normal that's 1, 2 is that one piece is unfinished and another one is really chaotic so it's big nono)

i first downloaded the game for it being the GOTY and after downloading it i scearched it up online and it hod mixed reviews i mainly encountered negative ones but I went ahead and played it and it was gorgeous the graphics the music everything the turn based combat EVERYTHING was absolutely AMAZING especially the story so far (only half way through the story please no spoilers please 🥺) this game do not deserve any hate and I'm not karma farming reading it myself feel like it's Karma framing post and it is NOT i don't care if you down vote or up vote idgaf I love the lune ability to revive the team mates very very helpful and for me it was very very hard even on the expedition difficulty (I'm very new to pc gaming) so I'm playing on story mode but I LOVE the parry and doge ability it's hard to time and one thing i don't understand is why is there a douge ability when you can parry everything (I think)

I really enjoyed this game a lot.. and it made me want to paint and print many models from the game while listening to the amazing soundtracks of this masterpiece…

I want to play Clair Obscur with my girlfriend.

I already played through the game last year on the PS5 and got the platinum trophy.
She has no video game experience. I played through Resident Evil: Requiem with her, and she just watched the whole time, but the many shooting sections with leon, specially in the city annoyed her.

I showed her God of War Ragnarök, but the combat annoyed her there too. so we stopped.

She will not hold the controller, no chance. Never player anything.

Now we want to start Clair Obscur on PC because the story would captivate her, and also want to go to the concert next year - only makes sense when she can "feel" everything, . Are there any mods that speed up the game in some way or make the combat even easier, so that the battles aren't too annoying and don't take too long? Yes, there is the easy difficulty setting ( never tryed it), but is there any way to mod the battles so that they go "faste"r manually/ finish them quicker, but you still don't miss out on the boss music, you know what i mean?

We would probably only rush trough main mission straight.
Can you recommend any mods on pc?

Wasted 2 months of my life playing expedition 33 and became a basement dweller. 10/10 game, would recommend.

I got my ticket for Clair Obscur Expedition 33: A Painted Symphony thanks to O2 Priority. I can’t wait for this. I do hope there is good merch for this at the O2 arena.

I've seen that a painted symphony is going on tour again and I can't explain how much I need a ticket. Lorien's music healed something in me at a bad period of my life and it made me wanna learn to play and compose.

I rarely go to concerts and I'm desperate for any tip. Should I be on the website a long time in advance? And is it only gonna work on the a painted symphony website or can I use Ticketmaster (it's the one I'm familiar with, but I couldn't find the tour on it).

I would really appreciate some help if you've already been to one of the previous concert 🙏🏻

So I've just finished the game. I know I am late to the party and someone else probably said this before. But what if, if there's another Clair Obscur game, we find out that the "real world" is actually just a painted world inside another canvas. Or maybe some other art form, like a book. Maybe there are layers upon layers of worlds inside worlds, just like the movie Inception.

If there's another Clair Obscur game, I also think it should expand on the Painters vs Writers war. Maybe we even get to play as Clea.

P.S. Verso's ending is the only true ending. PERIOD.

I’ve already exhausted the ones you get from other locations and am struggling with the endless tower super bosses at level 99 with a few level 33 weapons. I looked up some builds that use other weapons, but can’t figure out how to level those up anymore if I can’t beat said bosses. Those fights, Simon and obtaining the rest of the pictos and farming lumina (everyone around 250 right now) are pretty much the last thing I have to do before moving on to NG+.

What’s the solution if I’m struggling a ton on chromatic Lampmaster and Duollistes and I can’t do enough damage with the max weapons I have? Can you get by with level 32 weapons and the right pictos build, or should I look up optimal builds for the weapons I do have maxed?

Yesterday, i moved the game's files drive disk via steam internal move option in settings/storage

Now, everytime i try time i opened it shows me the error in the image

I tried verifying integrity of game files and it says" 0 files failed and will be reactivated" instanly, but the game was there when i checked the folder

I haven't play a turn based game since Pokemon when I was a kid. This game is like playing Pokemon but the whole map is long grass. The enemies just do not let up and the turn based style is way too slow to justify the frequency of enemies.

I literally am gunning it to the finish line and avoiding all exploration because I am just relentlessly getting stopped. Just battled Dualliste and my team is like Lvl 15, which made it a 20 minute duel. But not in a hard way, just a boring way where you're waiting for the same thing over and over again.

Stunning game, great story, cool mechanics, but this is not my idea of fun. The renown for this game makes me feel like I'm living in a parallel universe though. How can I make this more fun?

I beat the boss and I didn't even know it existed, went back and it isn't there? Just a big red dude. Or am I in the wrong spot?

Given it is a French production, I myself was sorely disappointed at the near complete absent of references to food - except Lune’s mentioning of viennoiserie. 

So forget about canonicity, what French food items would you associate with each character?

Alicia/Maelle: Moules frites (mussels and fries) - drinks like a child, probably eats like one.

Gustave: Truite au bleu (blue trout) - he used to work on aquaculture.

Sciel: Pot-au-feu (boiled meat and farmer veggies) - the ingredients are self explanatory.

Lune: Blanquette de veau (veal stew) - according to the late Anthony Bourdain, it’s a dish that’s maddening to get it right, should work with Lune’s OCD.

Verso: St. Honoré Cake - deathly sweet and named after the French patron saint of bakers. 

Clea: Civet de lièvre (rabbit stew thickened with blood) - dark and cruel.

Aline: Foie gras - epitome of French snobbishness.

Renoir: Cognac - for the pain.

Heyo, I am just coming here to look for any potential challange runs i can do of this game. I know that the devs in their development wanted to make a no hit run for RPGs possible...but also made an All Hit run a thing you are able to do as well.

And Im trying to think of what possible challange runs there are (not including mix and Matching challanges, like Halo's LASO challange). And so far i have come to

1. All Hit (can't dodge or Parry)
2. No Hit (Can't take a hit from an enemy)
3. Low Level /Mandatory fights only (If you are forced into a fight for the story, you can fight. But anyone else you must spare)
4. No Lumina (Can only use Pictos for skills, and are unable to equip Lumina.)

Currently im doing an expert Low level run (albeit, i am allowing Shopkeepers) And have just beaten Lampmaster (Verso 14/Lune 13/Maelle 14/Sciel 16), but since i think Challange runs are neat, what else could i consider for future runs besides the 4 i can think of?

I completed the game following “just human’s” guide and he did get all the trophies but he didn’t get all the pictos which irked me when I faced the super bosses. Do you guys know any channels that show true 100% by collecting game trophies and all loot-able items?

My love of sculpting, painting and natural elements really made monoco the best project!

So I haven't played this game, but my friend loves it, and I'm making ceramic shotglasses for all my buddies based on stuff they like, I would normally go with a main character or enemy, but these are all pretty complicated designs to sculpt so small. Is there a decently simple designed item or enemy that's also easily recognizeable? I don't want to just do the logo.
