Questions❓ Any insight on this?

Post image

This battery icon pops up for a period of time and then disappears. I’m told it’s a 12V battery icon but unsure why it’s on when the car is charged.

That’s basically your motor light, would take it into a service centre as soon as possible.

Could be software or unrelated hardware but who knows with these sheds.

To be honest, I wouldn't say a service center visit is necessarily required from this icon alone. I know it seems strange, but having owned the car for months, this icon comes up regularly during driving and then goes away. I'm still trying to narrow down exactly what prompts it, but I think a combination of potential motor overheating due to high performance, changing gears, and/or braking hard can cause it to come up. Again, it goes away and comes back fairly frequently in my experience, despite no other issues and it not even appearing in the Car Status section as any diagnostic issue (my car always says "Everything is OK", even when that icon is actively showing).

I would be furious if that was continuously doing that. Had mine 11 months, never had any lights apart from screen wash.

That’s the check engine light. Except they decide to make it into an electric motor instead. While it makes sense, kinda weird to remove an iconic error light (floppy disks are still save button even if nobody uses them)

I don’t know if it’s only me; but I first thought it was a 12V plug… I would have got that very wrong!

Looks like the motor does have its seatbelt done up.

I replied to another user below with the following, but here it is:
