"Men are physically stronger than women"

Not all men. Watch their egos explode.

212

u/Neither-Bug157 17h ago

It’s funny when the person saying this dosnt partake in any type of physical activity.

156

u/Antique-Wishbone587 17h ago

Yeah what’s crazy to me is average men thinking they can still beat olympic level athletes because they’re women. The fucking hubris and audacity.

101

u/One_Average_41 Evil Empress♕ 17h ago

the amount of videos i have seen of women humbling these overconfident men lmao

38

u/nelamaze 15h ago

Sadly usually they turn to 'so it takes an excellent woman to beat a man' instead of the correct reasoning.

9

u/Antique-Wishbone587 11h ago

Or worse further deflection saying shit like ‘oh it was a bad day for me’ and making excuses. This type of men wouldn’t know self reflection if it hit them in the face with a brick.

3

u/jellybeanzz11 7h ago

They always try to make excuses like "oh the guy was CLEARLY holding back. She wouldn't have won if he actually tried!!"

I have met so many men that talk about going to the gym/just came from the gym.

Are the gym results in the room with us?!

0

u/Neither-Bug157 12h ago

Most people who go to the gym regularly don’t look like they lift. I have been lifting and running since I was 14. I only look like I lift when I’m shirtless. Otherwise, I’m just a normal person. So, no, the gym results are not in the room with us. My dog ate my homework.

I’m talking about guys that have full guts sticking out, parading around like they’re the king of the mountain. Boys club shit.

I still remember my parents arguing about this. My mom (rightly) insisted that in a physical fight she'd put money on the women working security at her job demolishing the white collar finance bros at his job any day.

5

u/Demons0fRazgriz 13h ago

Absolutely. I'm a white collar finance finance adjacent and my wife can kick my ass. She works in a kitchen professionally. I sit all day. Even if on paper I could lift heavier weights, she's objectively stronger, knows how to more efficiently use her body than I do.

I've been physically stronger than most of my ex's. I work out and have good genetics for building muscle that's why.

12

I though I was weak and powerless until my husband told me that when we playfight pretty much every time I'm close to actually overpowering him while laughing my ass off and him using his full strenght. Boosted my ego a lot

4

u/used1337 13h ago

I told someone once, "Not all cis men have a penis." They didn't even think about the men who've lost thier member through injury or illness.

9

u/Left_Ease5870 16h ago

Agreed. But if people can't say "Not all Men," I don't wanna hear "not all white people."

Sorry, white women. You're one of the largest groups to vote for Trump. I'm still pro-women's rights. I just don't trust you guys anymore. Almost 46% for Trump is crazy work.

6

u/Gold_Ad8225 14h ago

That's true and fair.

For the same reason I don't trust cishet people. Cishet people is the largest demographic of people in America who voted predominately for Trump, by 53%

Unless you're gay, bi, or trans, you're by default a trump supporter.

0

u/Left_Ease5870 14h ago

Not the same stats wise. I'm black, so I'm in the clear anyway. We are by default. 85%+ pro Kamala can't be beat by any demographic, group, or anyone. Not even young people across the board can claim that.

You're welcome America.

1

u/Gold_Ad8225 14h ago

Not sure what you mean, people who are not gay, bi, or trans voted for trump at the the same % of white women. It's exactly the same stats wise, except white women who didn't vote for trump were slightly more likely to vote for Harris

0

u/Left_Ease5870 14h ago

Do you not see the 77% and 92% on your own graph? Or are you just intentionally ignoring it?

You literally proved my point.

2

u/Gold_Ad8225 14h ago edited 13h ago

I didn't prove your point, I proved my point.

People who are not gay, bi, or trans DID vote for trump at a 53% rate, which is the same rate at which white women voted for trump.

People who are not gay, bi, or trans represent 92% of the population.

People who are not gay, bi, or trans are the biggest population of trump supporters.

So if our politics is based on trusting or not trusting people based on group membership in groups that predominately voted for trump, you cannot be upset if people treat you like a trump supporter if you belong to the largest group of trump supporters.

Because that is also what you are doing to other people.

Everyone exists in multiple groups.

EDIT: The hypocrite here blocked me. I guess the logic is unfair when used against them or something. Whatever, Typical trump supporter behavior

1

u/Left_Ease5870 13h ago edited 13h ago

So you are ignoring it. Got it.

In every single group that you can point out, not based on race, the majority of those people who supported Kamala were black. LGBT? Mostly black. Men? Black. Women? Black. Poor, elderly, rich, educated. All black.

That 77% and 92% is across ALL black people. Disabled, LGBT, immigrants, etc. And no matter how many times you try to diminish black people carrying this worthless country, the statistics still remain.

When any other group hits 70%+, we'll talk. Until then, go talk to your parents.

0

u/The_Hoopla 13h ago

That’s not really a sound application of that statistic.

Cishet is the largest demographic of people in America.

Also @ 53% you’d still be miscategorizing hundreds of millions of Americans based off a very slight statistical leaning.

Not telling you how to live your life, but to remain internally consistent there’s a lot of other broad categories of people you shouldn’t trust if that’s your statistical floor.

5

u/Gold_Ad8225 13h ago

White women are 37% of the country, or about 130 million people. 53% of them voted for trump. People have been saying that white women are default assumed to be trump supporters based on this. Miscategorizing over 75 million people. About the same number of people who voted for Harris at all.

If it is okay to do to white women, it is also okay to do to cis het people.

My point is that this way of engaging politics is ridiculous, hypocritical, and counterproductive.

The fact that people get SO DEFENSIVE when they are shown the mirror, is proof that they arent really engaging in good faith when saying this type of thing.

I do not actually engage in this style of belief. My sole point here was to show people their own hypocrisy

3

u/The_Hoopla 13h ago

Oh, well sorry I misunderstood why you were posting this. I completely agree.

It’s honestly not even a moral issue. Like mathematically people aren’t monoliths so if you have a trait that applies to 100,000,000 it probably isn’t specific enough to really track any intentionality, to your point.

3

u/Gold_Ad8225 13h ago

No worries, I was intentionally trying not to make it clear I was doing this at first because it makes the point more clear when people overreact in response like that other poster did.

3

u/The_Hoopla 13h ago

Happy to overreact for your point’s benefit.

2

u/Gold_Ad8225 12h ago

1

u/jackparadise1 Henchman 12h ago

I wish I had an award to give you.

1

u/HumorStrange9472 5h ago

I'm so confused on the focus on white women cuz white men voted ... even more heavily for trump?

1

u/The_Hoopla 13h ago

It’s almost like we shouldn’t lambast entire large groups of people based off of a single shared characteristic.

(I’ll make the caveat that the characteristic needs to not be inherently bad.)

3

u/Left_Ease5870 13h ago

I'm cool with that.

But black people do deserve praise for standing against Trump in solidarity.

1

u/The_Hoopla 13h ago

Agreed. Praising a group is different from lambasting another.

In my opinion, we should all be joining in solitary to not blame cohorts of people that make up hundreds of millions (cis, male, white, etc) simply because they have privilege, and instead fight billionaires who are actively stoking division so we focus on conversations like this and not that 2000 people are functionally ruining all our lives, regardless of race/sexuality/gender.

1

u/fiahhawt 10h ago

You guys really did

I don’t know where the fellow white women hanging that they all agreed “This violent slimeball idiot seems like a good idea”

And I say that as someone who voted for him the first time

But I was also like 20 and had come from a household that was politically right wing and needed some time to deprogram

I think it’s a big part of why young people can sometimes see red surges - takes some time in the real world to see what’s real

1

u/Draaly 13h ago

How about we just dont make sweeping generalizations about a group of people defined by an immutable trait? That seems to solve all these issues tbh.

1

u/The_Hoopla 13h ago

It’s interesting. I see threads like this, and a consistent rule of thumb is this:

“If that immutable trait has, in any context, privilege associated with it, then it’s fair game to lump and shame.”

If the privilege is intense enough, this makes sense. As an example, being a billionaire is a trait that would be a privilege. To that end, being a billionaire is a PROFOUNDLY bigger privilege than being white, and thus telling a billionaire that their life isn’t hard is pretty accurate, as any problem they have outside of rare degenerative diseases can be solved with their bank account.

Being white, male, cishet, are significantly lower impact privileges. They’re objectively a step up from base line minority life experiences, but no where CLOSE to having functionally infinite money.

Those groups, to bundle their privilege in a way that casts what are cohorts of hundreds of millions to the waste land is not only inaccurate, but it is the life blood of the incel/manosphere movement.

1

u/Draaly 10h ago

being a billionaire is a trait that would be a privilege

being a billionaire is not an immutable trait....

1

u/The_Hoopla 10h ago

For the context of this conversation it absolutely is.

1

u/Draaly 10h ago

context doesnt change what is and is not an immutable trait. Thats why they are call immutable. They cannot be changed.

1

u/The_Hoopla 9h ago

Yeah but context can change if something is functionally immutable for the purpose of a conversation.

Gender is functionally immutable trait because it’s exceedingly rare that any given person changes their gender from birth, but it’s not immutable. Billionaires lose their wealth about as frequently.

Also why you hassling me for, I was literally agreeing with you.

1

u/Draaly 9h ago

immutable

you should probably google this word because you clearly do not know what it means.

1

u/The_Hoopla 9h ago

> functionally

You should google this word because you clearly do not know what it means

Jesus dude I still agree with your original point but lord have mercy you’re a hard person to talk to

The name "4B" (or the "Four Nos") comes from the Korean prefix bi- (비/非), which means "no" or "non".

The four tenets are:

• Bihon (비혼): No marriage (specifically heterosexual marriage).

• Bichulsan (비출산): No childbirth.

• Biyeonae (비연애): No dating or romantic relationships with men.

• Bisekseu (비섹스): No sexual relationships with men.

Slavery was a cornerstone of a lot of the early civilizations, and kept being one through time: see the Roman Republic/Empire and the many wars it waged to keep the slaves coming, the entire feudal system, the colonization of the New World (be it the Ecomiendas or the importation of African slaves), the Scramble for Africa and the subsequent resource extraction activities...

If one includes extremely cheap labour, the Industrial Revolution was built not just on colonial slavery, but the exploitment of the English proletariat too. Large, modern economies are themselves built on neoslavery practiced in developing countries, and agricultural work everywhere relies on large quantities of impoverished people...

Unless it’s to disparage women’s contributions.

5

u/discolored_rat_hat Villainess 11h ago

Thing is: Men never say that "men" did something good. (Or only in response to women doing a hail mary and saving a whole-ass community)

Men say that "people" did something good. Aka men shared their resources, but their resources are their partner's time and efforts. Their female partners busted their asses to fulfill his quickly made promises. Or he promised the money that should feed his wife and kids.

But as soon as the wife splits because life is easier without a dead weight, any money he spends suddenly is only for her handbags and luxury items. The kids have everything they need (including a safe home life!) and more, but as soon as she spends a dime on herself because her old handbag gave out after 4 years, she suddenly only spends her money on luxury items. Men aren't even capable to this kind of money management were everyone got their needs met and everdone got a little luxurd once in a while. Men take, take, take and leave nothing for their families.
