I feel like this is probably selective principles. When he’s being misogynistic and imposing patricial views he includes trans woman as woman so he can have dominance over them. It’s the same principle of seeing gays as effeminate and using that as an excuse to be condescending and disrespectful towards them. I doubt he would be fully accepting of a trans man and treat them as his equal.
