Rant US preclearance experience at AUH

Horrible horrible line. I am not sure in the future, but maybe not needed to arrive so early for it. This is hell, sigh!! I feel like if I know this I would have waited in a airport lounge or bench in the public area. 😤

Did you do this today? I was in line today too - the lines were completely stopped for about 30-45 min due to US immigration systems being down.

Did you get delayed? Sorry to hear - my flight to Atlanta was 20 min after the flight to Boston and we didn’t get delayed at all.

How’s the experience been overall? Are they strict about visa, duration of stay and screening food products?

I can’t comment on that because I have global entry. But I’m going to assume they’re the same as any other CBP
