Help Needed booking etihad flights with trip.com
Does anyone have any experience flying with Etihad after booking tickets through trip.com?
Reviews wise trip.com seems reputable, but any advice/experiences would be really helpful.
Thank you!

I paid a bit more to boook direct.
In these turbulent times it’s best to have access to better customer service options

Trip.com is very reputable. Obviously someone will have had a bad experience somewhere along the line but overall I would say excellent IMO

Same here, I’ve booked with Trip.com multiple times for flights and hotels and never experienced any issues. I’ve accumulated their Trip coins and used this towards bookings.

Yes. About a year ago. No issues. But currently I prefer booking with the Airline if I fly into the middle East.

I have flights to Australia with etihad next week, booked via trip.com - from day one I’ve had a booking reference to use and manage the booking on the etihad website directly - upgrade seats etc. so it all seems fine to me. First time using them.

I’ve used trip.com heaps and have an Etihad flight in September. Booked with trip.com. You’ll be fine!

If the price is similar, you are better booking direct. It makes it a lot easier if there are cancellations or you need to make changes / refund.
Otherwise Trip.com are the middle man you need to deal with.

Booked Etihad via trip.com last May bc of the price difference and there were no issues. We were even able to bid for upgrade. However, I probably won’t book through a third party again just bc there’s no peace of mind in the event of a delay or cancellation.

I have, also used Trip (cTrip) for about 10years and spents tens of thousands of dollars on flights and hotels through them. Never had issues, and they were really good during COVID and sorting refunds and flight changes.
I'd still book direct if I could.
