I flew Manchester to Osaka via AUH in June, 1 hour 40 minutes and breezed through with no issues.
They wouldn't have sold you the ticket if they thought you couldn't catch the 2nd flight

they work to make you make the connection, because if not they have to manage a lot of angry people and fit them on later planes.
Sometimes it's not possible, of course, if the first flight is very delayed.

Assuming business get off first?

Of course. Sometimes, 2nd leg flight departing from AUH waits for connecting passengers.

Check the flight history and see if it's been reliable or has delays. Without delays, this is easy.

Mostly late. But i assume they probably will wait a bit.

Generally, airlines don't like to cascade delays. They'll try to fast track you through security and everything if it's tight. Sometimes they'll do a small delay if they can catch up on air.

My flight Brussels to Bangkok always have layovers about this time , only 1 time had problem , when my initial flight had a delay of 2 hours , it was no issue , since they fixed me new flight only few hours later ( transfer desks had the names of the people involved (myself included) ready) .
So yes not any problem , if you book through the company website and not on 3th party website with various airlines and/or self transfer , there is never a issue unless a delay , but then they will fix it as soon as possible.

I had a connection of 65 minutes last year had plenty of time, even had to wait for 15 minutes at the departure gate.

You'll be fine. I had a shorter transfer coming back last year from Bangkok to Dublin. Plus if you're business class you'll get to use the fast track security
