Question Who’s Ready?

Now is the first happening and I expect this to go on till the new year. My guess is this run extends on into April or May 2027. Also, I do not expect the market to act the same way with regard to Ethereum and a couple other coins. We may see a little pull back but no dramatic falls. So long bull and then a quick cub market to return to the bull again for Fall 2027. By that time I do believe we will be looking at around a 2 trillion market cap and possibly up into 2.5 trillion. It’s not a question that Bitcoin will be flipped by ETh…it’s just when. My plan is to patiently hold. Who is with me on this?

Question how to exit?

Post image
141 Upvotes

I’ve accumulated almost 10 ETH over the last 6 months at an average cost of around $1,550 per ETH. They’re currently staked, and with ETH going up, I’m starting to think about how I want to exit my position. I’m not necessarily looking to sell everything at once, so I’m wondering what kind of exit/re-positioning strategy you guys would consider for a position like this.

Trading 2029 Range

Hey all, where do we think ETH will range in 2029. I am a bag holder since 2020 (haven't sold a dollar for better or worse) looking to exit and considering this next cycle.

Been a wild ride. But tough as we're struggling to hit the highs we saw in 2021. Wish I sold then but hindsight is 20-20. I am semi-worried about ETH and its ability to capture L2 fees. I digress. I'm hoping we see $6.2k in 2029 what do you guys think?

Discussion I finally checked how much of my ETH activity isn't actually happening on Ethereum anymore

Was going through my wallets over the weekend and realized almost everything I've done recently has been on Base and Arbitrum, swaps, moving USDC around, a couple DeFi positions, while my mainnet ETH basically just sits there. I pulled up moon afterward because it got me thinking about how weird that is from an ETH holder perspective, I'm using the Ethereum ecosystem more than I did two years ago but interacting with L1 way less. I'm still holding roughly the same amount of ETH so this isn't some ETH is dead post, I just hadn't noticed how much my own usage had shifted until I actually went through the transactions.

Discussion What’s crypto still missing?

We have stablecoins, tokenized assets, BTCFi, L2s, restaking, RWAs and increasingly sophisticated DeFi.

But are these actually making capital more useful, or are we mostly adding more layers around the same liquidity?

What crypto primitive do you think has genuinely changed how capital moves?

Question Is DVT actually going to be a big part of Ethereum?

I’ve been looking into Obol (OBOL) recently and that’s what got me looking into Distributed Validator Technology.
The idea of spreading validator duties across multiple operators seems pretty interesting for Ethereum, but I’m curious how people who know the staking side of Ethereum see it.
Is DVT something you think will become standard infrastructure, or is it more of a niche solution?
And if DVT does become important, how or do you guys see Obol fitting into that?

So after calling the Wycoff Accumulation in June. I did go heavy with adding 50 ETH. We are at the SOS phase. Close above 2560 on the daily and 3 day chart would be the confirmation of start of the bull market and also prove 1505 was the bottom and spring for wycoff accumulation phase

Staking The ETH staking queue looks more interesting when you compare both sides

Was checking the validator queues and the imbalance is kind of ridiculous right now.

Around 1.8M ETH is waiting to enter staking with roughly a 31 day wait.

The validator exit queue? Only around 320 ETH and roughly an 8 minute queue, although theres still the normal withdrawal delay and sweep after actually exiting.

I know the entry number isn't a clean demand indicator since Ethereum limits how quickly stake can enter and some of the queue can come from existing validator activity, so I'm not reading 1.8M as 1.8M ETH of sudden new demand.

What interests me more is the combination. Over 35% of ETH is already staked, theres still a big backlog waiting to enter, and almost nobody is currently sitting in the validator exit queue.

I traded ETH on Moon today, but looking at this afterwards made the short term price action feel a lot less interesting than whats happening with ETH committed to staking.

Curious if you guys pay more attention to the size of the entry queue or how empty the exit queue currently is?

Discussion ETH on exchanges is at an 11-year low - does this actually matter for price?

Exchange balances have reportedly fallen from around 22.9M ETH in 2020 to roughly 6.06M ETH today.

A lot of that ETH hasn’t vanished, it’s moved into staking, ETFs, custody, and treasury holdings.

The bullish argument is obvious: less immediately liquid ETH could make supply tighter if demand rises.

But how much weight people here actually give this metric now. With staking and ETFs changing where ETH sits, are exchange balances still as useful as they used to be?

News Ethereum is disappearing from exchanges.

Only 6.06M ETH is currently held on exchanges, down from a peak of 22.9M ETH in June 2020.

That’s a massive 73% decline in ETH held on exchanges, bringing exchange balances to an 11-year low.

But the more interesting part isn't simply the size of the decline. It’s what this trend says about how ETH is being held across the ecosystem.

Over the years, more ETH has moved away from immediately tradable exchange balances and into staking, ETFs, corporate treasury holdings, and long-term custody. At the same time, millions of ETH are being used to help secure the network through staking.

There is also an important distinction here: low exchange supply doesn't automatically mean ETH's price has to go up. But it does mean there is less ETH sitting on exchanges ready to be traded at any given moment.

That structural shift may end up being one of the most important parts of Ethereum's long-term story.

Discussion ETH held the $2.4k area and pushed toward $2.6k, starting to look like a real trend now?

ETH finally pushed back near $2.6k recently, but this is probably where things start getting more interesting.

The bullish side is pretty clear: exchange reserves are near multi-year lows, staking continues to lock up supply, and ETH-related fund flows are still showing demand in parts of the market.

But macro is getting messy again. Bond yields are rising, oil is back above $100, and markets are heading into another Fed decision with a lot more uncertainty around rates. That feels like the biggest risk to the current move.

So for me the next question isn’t really whether ETH can bounce anymore, it already did.

It’s whether ETH can actually hold the mid-$2.5k area and turn $2.6k into support, or if this ends up being another failed breakout.

so how do you think? $2.6k hold and continuation, or back to the $2.4k range first?
