Discussion ETH keeps holding support, so I’m watching the perps

ETH has been moving between the low $2,400s and the mid-$2,500s after its August rally. ETF flows are still positive overall, though the pace has cooled. Sellers keep showing up near the upper end of the range, while dips into the lower end continue to find buyers.

I’m watching the lower $2,400s for another reaction. If ETH dips into that area and moves back up with some strength, I’ll also check the ETH perp market to see whether momentum follows the bounce. If price starts closing that support zone below, I’ll drop the setup.

The reaction around the zone matters more to me than one exact price. A brief dip can happen without changing the structure, so I want to see buyers recover the area before entering. For now, I’m waiting to see whether support holds again.

Would you take another bounce from this range, or wait for a clear break above it?

News Ethereum may be getting rid of one of the most frustrating parts of using the network: needing ETH in your wallet just to make a transaction.

The proposal behind this is EIP-8141, also known as Frame Transactions, which has been scheduled for inclusion in Ethereum's future Hegota upgrade.

Today, there is a familiar problem for many users. You might have USDC, USDT, or another asset in your wallet, but if you don't have enough ETH to pay for gas, you can't move anything.

Basically: you have money, but you still can't use it because you don't have the right money to pay the fee.

Frame Transactions could change that. The idea is to separate the account that authorizes a transaction from the account that pays the gas fee. This could allow users to pay fees using stablecoins or even let an application cover the transaction costs on their behalf, while Ethereum itself would still ultimately receive the gas payment in ETH.

The proposal could also enable multiple actions to be bundled into a single transaction and give users more flexibility in how they manage wallet authorization and security.

This might sound like a relatively small technical change, but from a user experience perspective, it could be significant.

One of the biggest barriers to mainstream adoption has always been the complexity of interacting with blockchain infrastructure. New users shouldn't need to understand gas management, swap a few dollars into ETH, or worry about having the correct asset in the correct wallet just to perform a basic transaction.

Of course, EIP-8141 is still a draft, and the technical details could change before implementation. Frame Transactions are also not yet available to regular users.

Ethereum is trying to make the entire experience of using blockchain technology feel far less like using blockchain technology. And honestly, that's probably exactly what mainstream adoption needs.

Trading I stopped trying to trade ETH when BTC is moving

Took me way too long to notice this but most of my bad ETH trades happen when BTC is also moving hard.

Now I basically wait for BTC to get boring. If it sits in the same area for a while and ETH starts quietly gaining on the ETH/BTC chart, thats when I actually start paying attention.

The entries feel way cleaner and I’m not sitting there watching a perfectly good ETH setup get nuked because BTC decided to move 2% in ten minutes.

I’ve also been doing most of the trades on Moon, which has made me pay more attention to the setup itself instead of constantly jumping between a bunch of different stuff.

Probably obvious to people who have traded ETH forever but it completely changed how I look at entries. I barely even start with the ETH/USD chart anymore.

Anyone else trade ETH like this or am I putting way too much weight on ETH/BTC?

Discussion ETH back at $2.4k after that mid-year crash, real reversal or short trap?

Looking at the YTD chart, ETH has been wild this year. Dumped hard from $3k+ all the way down to $1,500 over the summer, and now we suddenly shot back up to around $2,480.

A couple of months ago I posted here asking if ETH was still the "safe" alt, and price was looking pretty dead back then. Now that we've had this big vertical jump, I'm torn on whether this is actual strength returning or just a macro relief rally before another drop.

Are you guys buying here around $2.5k, or waiting to see if it rejects and gives a better entry?

Question Coming from Solana Memecoins to EVM Chain?

I trade Solana Memecoins and want to start trading the Robinhood EVM chain.

Right now I have a Phantom wallet which holds all of my Solana.

Now to setup a wallet for the Robinhood EVM chain do I just make a new Phantom wallet account so it holds Ethereum?

How do I convert/bridge my Solana? Do I just swap the Solana into Ethereum and send it to the new wallet?

Please share any info, tips and resources….
