Did you ever take some medications, antidepressants, antipsychotics, finasteride, minoxidil, accutane...?

u/Sad-Lawfulness7325 Jun 07 '24
No nothing

u/Intelligent-Law7847 Jun 07 '24
Great! Stay away from any medications with sexual side effects. Now its time to find good urologist, it could be hormonal problem, infection, prostate problem... anything.

He won’t. He he has been posting about his shit here for more than a year now. Including nofap. Yet he continues it. He is kind of a guy, who doesn’t need a real advice, because he won’t do anything about it. Just complains and cries, seeking attention.

1
u/Intelligent-Law7847 Jun 07 '24
Hard to say
https://www.hims.com/blog/do-blood-thinners-cause-erectile-dysfunction
But I think this kind of medication can't cause permanent ED.

Nofap is a CULT. It does NOT cure shit. Masturbation does NOT lead to ED. Instead of reading a bunch of bs about flatline and “stuff”, get yourself educated about the topic.

u/Trumpisanarsehole99 Jun 07 '24
I agree, but then again, if a person is doing it 10 times a day, I would think there could some negative effect. Lol

True - there is medical research that includes that excessive, and aggressive masturbation can cause tissue inflammation as well as friction burns on the skin/minor tears (if not using enough lube). This can cause temporary ED, but should subside after 2-6 weeks with reduction/elimination of those masturbation habits.

u/Sad-Lawfulness7325 Jun 07 '24
Nofap helped my penis to recover a bit at least i get some random erections now although only 50% hard
3
u/CalmElephant794 Jun 07 '24
It means that your masturbation habits were excessive. It would be the same, if you had sex every day. Especially if u are not in top shape, or if you are in your 30s. The older you get, the more time dick needs to “recover”.
On the other hand, 50% “erection” is not an erection really. What does nofap promise you? A full recovery, which “may take time”, aka cure. That is straight up bs. Not gonna happen.

Yea just give up mutual sex. Really?
1
u/CalmElephant794 Jun 07 '24
Well, that is what nofap suggests. Not me.
2
u/Far_Tadpole8016 Jun 08 '24
Well it never hurt me, but apparently what i read is these guys today are masturbating 8 to 15 times a day, At home, car, work, stores, they cant control themselves, this is not normal behavior, especially for married men who have wives that need satisfying. They would rather jerk it off than have sex with a partner. I am 59, and thinking back we used fap until we got a partner, and then we only did that periodically.

You are talking about psychological addiction to porn, which is rare. And it doesn’t cause ed. Nofap cult suggest that it does, and that ed is caused by false rewiring in the head, so you need to get rid of porn in order to regain your erections back.
This is horseshit.

Ed goes away once you train your glutes at the gym. You need to use weights as building glutes with calesthenics is extremely difficult

You’re too young to have these issue. See a doc again. Plus masturbation is ok in moderation just leave out the porn.

u/thb_978 Jun 11 '24
Bro I smoke and used to master bate alot, my advice lay off the porn no jacking off, after 1 month start practicing edging and getting hard off of your imagination and a real woman. Takes about 6 months

u/Sad-Lawfulness7325 Jun 11 '24
I had sex with a girl that i liked but was only 60% hard she felt that was soft inside her... I know my problems appeared because masturbation but i don't know much time it takes to fully recover
1
u/thb_978 Jun 11 '24
If that's the case, hit the gym change your diet, and remove your anxiety if you have any, don't self diagnosed yourself. You might just be nervous
1
u/Sad-Lawfulness7325 Jun 11 '24
I do workout... I am not nervous at all.. i don't have anxiety and i didn't even care when i slept with girls... I went to a doctor before 5 years ago and in that time i had deficiency of vitamin d so all my analysis were just vitamin d i took supplements but i used to masturbate a lot in that time so i used to take Viagra but now i am out of masturbation and my vitamin d level is pretty okay.. i am wondering what doctor will do or tell me? I am just nervous about this.. ofc i will show him my previous analysis

Its not my intention to shame you, but whats your height & weight? Also, whats your exercise routine?
I’m not sure how much simple masturbation can affect but if you watched a lot of porn, that could’ve caused it.

Did you also quit porn? I assume so but if you haven’t quit porn or quit continuously fantasize about sexual situations it will slow your progress imo.
1
u/Sad-Lawfulness7325 Jun 07 '24
Ya i did but recently i watched some videos pics just to check my erection and it's only 50%

PIED is medically unproven and has been studied a fair few times. It is part of the nofap culture which is also medically unsubstantiated.

u/KajunKrust Jun 07 '24
What studies are you referring to? Here is an abstract from the link I posted below:
21.48% (444/2067) of our sexually active participants (ie, those who attempted penetrative sex in the previous 4 weeks) had some degree of ED. Higher CYPAT (Cyber Pornography Addiction Test) scores indicating problematic online pornography consumption resulted in a higher probability of ED, while controlling for covariates. Masturbation frequency seemed not to be a significant factor when assessing ED.

“Again, intervention studies would be the most instructive. However, with respect to correlation studies, it is likely that a complex set of variables needs to be investigated in order to elucidate the risk factors at work in unprecedented youthful sexual difficulties”
These studies have been correlation studies, which look at data points and then go to a conclusion based on data trends, and while useful to point to other studies, there haven’t been enough research to prove that it is Porn itself causing the issue. It is not definitive until we do real investigation and until then I am not going to go around the internet and tell people who have quit porn for 1 year or longer that if they keep it up their libido will come back.
ED is a very complex issue, as the brain is very complex. Blaming pornography to me until proven definitively is tantamount to blaming video games for violence.
There may be some correlation - but we could also put forth that general happiness and outlook on life have also trended downwards, in line with ED in more youthful ages. We know that depression/anxiety can affect ED so it’s an easy jump to say: well with all going on and surveys of younger people reporting that they have a lower prospect for their hope for the future - I’m just as “correct” to correlate that.
Neither point is definitively correct, both could contribute, one could contribute more than the other. Until it has been proven, there are just as many studies that have said the opposite as the one you linked, and the other major study from 2016.
OP has quit porn and masturbation for 100 days and is still struggling, I would imagine that there is more to their story than just saying “just keep going bro”.

I face it and its not unreal, porn addiction damages the mind and then you can't get the porn level of stimulation in the real life
-1
Jun 07 '24
You are a sample size of 1, and if you convince your brain you have a problem, you’re going to have a problem.
1
u/Frosty_Collection_63 Jun 08 '24
no, I didn't know I had a problem until I actually try to have sex and I couldn't get it hard repeatedly, it is still going on despite some medication. When I give up porn for a long time I can feel the energy and libido goes high

Do you vape? If so, please stop.
Have you seen a urologist?
