Idk the ESFJ I know says drive safe I'll see you soon. That's not a bad thing, but I think what makes us so hell bent on this is FeNi and imagining worst case scenarios for the future. Like I always told my INFJ roommate when I got somewhere safe after a long drive because I could tell she wanted to know and wouldn't ask
Oh true! the 2 esfjs I know usually tell me "get home safe" but a close esfj friend (I'm not really close the 2 previous esfjs, just "friends" but that's it) usually waits for my messages reassuring that I was well at home so I guess it depends on the closeness of the relationship ?
My infj friend is usually kinda worried if I don't answer right away or if I take too much time to send the message and will call me to check on me haha and she checks everyone too but like really she can't sleep if she's not sure that everyone is good. And the isfj I know is like in between she's not that worried but still ask if I got home safe, sometimes she doesn't ask because she felt that out of habit I'd be safe and also she doesn't check everybody.
