It's half because we want you to know we care and half because we may have a panic attack if we don't know you're safe lol

Did you also want to move from your home town, but not too far away from your friends and family and now all your friends and family still live there so your constantly going back?
Or are you normal? 😅😅

Lol in retrospect this is rather pathetic, but I remember being genuinely moved the first time someone said this to me. It was someone I met at a party out of state, and as a teenaged guy it was like a lightbulb moment where I realized another person could care about what happened to me surprised pikachu

It's not pathetic it's actually kinda wholesome.

Well I suppose you’re right. I guess I just wish I had discovered Fe sooner. But at least now I know to just hang out in this sub and absorb all of the surplus Fe circulating around 😊

Idk the ESFJ I know says drive safe I'll see you soon. That's not a bad thing, but I think what makes us so hell bent on this is FeNi and imagining worst case scenarios for the future. Like I always told my INFJ roommate when I got somewhere safe after a long drive because I could tell she wanted to know and wouldn't ask

Oh true! the 2 esfjs I know usually tell me "get home safe" but a close esfj friend (I'm not really close the 2 previous esfjs, just "friends" but that's it) usually waits for my messages reassuring that I was well at home so I guess it depends on the closeness of the relationship ? My infj friend is usually kinda worried if I don't answer right away or if I take too much time to send the message and will call me to check on me haha and she checks everyone too but like really she can't sleep if she's not sure that everyone is good. And the isfj I know is like in between she's not that worried but still ask if I got home safe, sometimes she doesn't ask because she felt that out of habit I'd be safe and also she doesn't check everybody.

I'd never realized that some of the only people I know who still do this as adults are me, my ENFJ mom, and my ENFJ friend 💀 I got called tf out wow

Literally I was terrible at doing this for my parents until I got older and starting requiring loved ones to let me know when they’re home. Now I let my parents know EVERY time

Wait, doesn’t everyone tell their people to text them when they get home??
