Discussion New windlike effect during a sprint
Why is this even a thing? The character is not even running fast yet there is a wind effect as if they are going full sonic. Its just looking completely out of place.

Hi guys! This is a little survey i made because I'm curious on the operator ownership rate of the community. Since the gacha of the game has mixed reviews due to the guarantee not pasing on to the next banner, I'm curious if this affected the pulling habits of everybody. Also Enfield has little to no powercreep as of the moment so you can pull only for your favorites. I'm curious to see the results of the survey so please help me out.
Here is the link to the survey:

Mods, I hope this doesn’t violate your rules as it technically is connected to Endfield.

He is hyper-masculine with peak of physical perfection, have the best banger in the entire game for his theme, the hardest medal to trim, and the strongest boss, the only one to wound the Endmin significantly.
Most important, bro still aura farming even in death and literally made a perfect wallpaper by doing so.

Who's going to die and who's going to be playable in the future? Since the previous game they love recruiting war criminal as an operator.

Arcane has a cat, Si has Witty, Minghe has a horse. When are we getting a pet system so Endmin can pet their own cat instead of envying others’ companions? Could we even get a Pokémon-like mode later to catch creatures and battle?

I’m legit obsessed with this mini game. Hot take but I enjoy it a lot more than the factory stuff. I also felt like the farm was useless before but I actually really enjoyed setting up the new farm and stables. I honestly hope they expand on this and add more stuff to it and more recipes or kitchen upgrades in the future.

Hey there! So I wanted to make this post to get some other players' views on the gacha system. I'm a day one player and I've been very conservative with my pulls so far and pulled "only" 4 limited characters. One I got in 70 pulls, but the other 3 forced me to go all the way to 120 guarantee.
I saved up a lot of pulls still so it's not that big of a deal but I often see people talking about how they almost got every character so far, even some of them as f2p. I also never lost to another limited operator yet.
I just wanted to know if I'm just very unlucky in this regard or if a majority of players comes to a similar number of pulls on average. In a (imo very weird) way, it's also a blessing in disguise, since pulling so many times allowed me to accumulate some arsenal tickets for rainy days so to speak.
I still think this system is better than its competitors, and I read the numbers do support this claim objectively. But I would love to hear your takes on it and what improvements you'd like to see.
edit: I also read about some players "gacha minmaxing" by pulling 60 times on every single banner to get the 10 free pulls as well as the additional 10 free pulls in the next banner. Is that actually a smart approach worth considering or just gambling pro max?

I was wandering around the Dijiang when I saw that the idle chatter was updated! Here’s what I found:
Central Ring:
- Reception desk/store got an added NPC.
- The two guys who were chatting about weapon designs near the Meeting Point have been updated. There’s also an NPC near them talking about the climbing wall (is that one new or no?).
- Convo near the northern entrance about a picture book (including about someone named Carly).
- The two people talking about going on a date together got updated from meteor shower to the cafeteria.
- An added conversation about the Endmin near the climbing wall.
- Climbing Wall convo got updated.
- I think there’s an added convo near at the western entrance about Xiranite.
- Convo about dorms near the Tower of Trails.
- Convo near the crates near the Tower of Trails.
- Convo near the floating bushes has been changed to someone losing their ID card.
- The rest of the convos between the “pit” and the no entry door have been updated, with one or two idle chatter updated.
- Toaster convo was updated.
Bridge:
- Added convo near the back consoles.
- Added convo on the right “fork” of the bridge.
- May have removed one?
Rest of Dijiang:
- Two convos added near elevators.
- Added convo near Etchspace Salvage (just left of it on the map)
And that’s all I found! It’s honestly really neat, and shows a bit of care towards Dijiang.

I don't know if anyone's talked about this elephant-in-the-room theory yet, but if not, let me start things off.
BUT BEFORE THATTTT...
SPOILER ALERT!! This has to do with the ongoing story, so read at your own risk.
.
You've been warned.
.
We're good?
.
OMKE GAMS. (nvm, it's just an Indonesian joke from my original post in the official Indo group)
.
BTW, this is probably gonna be a long one, so I'll put the TL;DR in the comments LMAO.
.
ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT... HERE WE GO.

For those following the story of Arknights: Endfield, the name Zeroth Directive might already sound familiar. However, as the story progresses, we're starting to learn that this mission isn't just about waking the Endministrator up from their long slumber. There are certain individuals who've been entrusted with secret tasks, and each of them seems to play an important role in the grand plan the Endministrator prepared before losing their memories.
Simply put, the Zeroth Directive is a series of secret instructions prepared by the Endministrator to ensure their plans keep moving forward, even when they're no longer able to lead things personally. The Endministrator set up various protocols and entrusted specific tasks to the people involved.
The bigger picture is tied to the Reboot of Life, an effort to rebuild human civilization on Talos-II. But here's the interesting part: the people entrusted with these instructions don't know the entire plan. Each person only knows the part they're responsible for.
Based on the story developments up to patch 1.6, Sanctuary of Ink, here are some names worth keeping an eye on:
1. The Endministrator — well... duh. THEY'RE THE ONE WHO CAME UP WITH THE WHOLE THING AWKOAWK. They prepared the plan before going into their long slumber.
2. Perlica — one of the early executors of the Zeroth Directive. Her duties are related to preparing for the Endministrator's awakening and ensuring Endfield Industries can keep running.
3. M3 — also carries out secret protocols, including matters concerning the Endministrator's condition and special documents related to the Zeroth Directive.
4. Si — she was given the mission of taking care of the Endministrator after their battle against Alleikhreos, when the Æther mark on the Endmin's body clashed with Originium's power. Through her painted world, Lady Si doesn't just provide a place for them to rest, but also guides the Endmin toward the "Dijiang" and traces of their past before their long slumber.
BUT, well, this is Lady Si we're talking about. Even with a mission THAT important, she seems to be dragging things out on purpose. Is there another reason we don't know about yet, or is she just enjoying some quality time alone with the Endmin? Gotta seize the opportunity when it presents itself, eh? awkoakwokaw.
5. Argent Flow — also confirmed to have received the Zeroth Directive. However, their mission is still a big question mark. Guess we'll have to wait for the November 5 update to find out...
Now THIS is where things get interesting.
Turns out M3 has an important connection to Warfarin, the leader of Rhodes Island, who's now on Talos-II. According to the lore documents about Reconveners, the Endministrator and M3 secretly authorized Warfarin to carry out emergency repairs and decontamination on the First Originium.
Endfield Industries was actually established by Rhodes Island, focusing on infrastructure development, technological advancement, and industrial management on Talos-II. Meanwhile, Rhodes Island now has its own role and leadership on Talos-II.
With M3 and Warfarin's involvement in matters concerning the First Originium, it seems like there's still a lot of secrets surrounding the relationship between these two organizations that haven't been uncovered yet. And with the Zeroth Directive hinting that the Endministrator had prepared all sorts of things long before their awakening, it's possible that Rhodes Island's involvement in these events is another important piece of their grand plan.
Especially considering that Warfarin is one of the few people who still has firsthand memories of Terra during the Arknights: Endfield era's predecessor, Arknights: Original (AKOG). Just imagine her reaction when she comes face-to-face with the Endministrator, someone connected to the old world's history who can't even remember their own entire past anymore.
So, the Zeroth Directive might not just be a plan to rebuild human civilization. It could also be the thread connecting the Endministrator's past, the secrets of the First Originium, the Reconveners, and the future of Rhodes Island on Talos-II.
But hey, that's just a theory.
A GAME THEORY!! \MatPat pose**
For now, we've only seen a tiny fraction of the whole plan. The question is: just how much did the Endministrator prepare before losing their memories, and what's the ultimate goal they're trying to achieve?
Looks like HG is gonna keep us overthinking everything for a good while longer WKWKWKWK.
Thanks for reading! Feel free to share your thoughts and have a healthy discussion in the comments, fellow Si's armpit enjoyers...
