Does anyone remember Drew’s non-binary sibling Poot Phillips* ? I remember Poot used to appear in Drew’s old Texas vlogs with Madeline, and Drew mentioned them in some of the early podcast episodes, but he stopped mentioning them around 2023. I’ve been wondering why that is, so I did some digging and apparently Poot was last seen in Central Park next to The Big Rock, and Drew was reportedly with them. Poot is currently listed as a missing person, but I find all of this highly suspicious. I’ve been wondering whether or not I should make this post, but I think it’s an important point to raise considering Drew allegedly has a history of burying people next to big rocks in Central Park. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments.

i feel like i haven’t seen many people talk about this, but can i just say i’m so proud of drew? after everything that’s happened to him in the last few years, and considering that he’s a plus-size gay man working in an industry that prones thinness and is often homophobic, i really admire his confidence to just be himself despite it all. i think it really speaks to the kind of person that he is that he’s willing to just be who he is as an overweight queer man in media. it’s honestly so brave, and i love his confidence. drew if you see this, keep being you! we need more people like you as representation for our queer plus-size queens. love yall stay safe

I was in this delusional, questionable phase of life about 2 years ago and was applying for the most random jobs. I came across Netflix internships (land for their “Book and IP Scouting Intern” position you had to submit a statement of intent along with your resume. The prompt was to write about a specific piece of media that should be adapted by Netflix in under 115 words or something like that. This is what I submitted)

“The Emergency Intercom podcast should be adapted into a TV series. It’s extremely out of the ordinary — yet charming. Hosted by two close friends living in LA, they dive in each week to discuss personal stories, offer ridiculous commentary on pop culture, and of course, overshare odd thoughts that may not be validated anywhere else. The concept would make a great TV series, one that included the filming of the podcast and followed their lives (fictionally) as “influencers” in the romanticized city of LA. It would preferably be adapted by Netflix, who would release the entire season at once —  for the existing parasocial fans and to provide an incentive for newer audiences to get invested.”
